Understanding Grace (恩典)
By Michael Youssef, Ph.D.
God is love (爱)and His love for us is unconditional(无条件的).
Though we do not deserve (应得)it, God freely gives His grace (恩典)to
us.
However, many times when we need God the most, we end up feeling as
though (仿佛)we are least (最少)accepted (接纳)by Him. Nothing
could be further from the truth! Even (即使)when we fall flat
(翻了大跟斗)on our faces due to sin(罪), God does not turn His back on
us. In fact, He does just the opposite(相反的)—He opens His arms
to us and beckons (招手; 召唤)us to repent (悔改)and to come to
Him.
We need to understand a principle (原则)concerning grace: it is
not currency (货币)we carry around in our pockets, spending it at

Biblical
Hope
By Michael Youssef, Ph.D.
All around us the world is changing
(改变), and most of these changes are not for the better (更好). Our
culture (文化) is becoming more ungodly, and our society (社会)is on a
downward (向下)spiral(螺旋). Many Christians feel helpless (无助)and
hopeless (绝望)at the condition of our world. They have become
resigned to the state of society’s moral (道德)decay(衰变). They are
overwhelmed by the sinfulness (罪恶)surrounding them. Yet the Bible
teaches us that Christians should be the most hopeful people on
earth.
