TAO 身体剧场

陶身体剧场成立于2008年3月北京，团队现由固定三位独立现代舞艺术家组成，虽然是三个个体，却同时被一种共同的、强烈的渴望所索引在一起。艺术是人类的创造！而我们渴望的是用“身体”进行创作，每一个身体都有它独特之谜。通过严谨并真诚的、充满探讨性的身体研究，我们将拉开肢体所存在的局面，在挖掘中发现身体更多未知的可能性。对我们来说，这种身体的探索已经接近于神圣的意义！因为我们在舞蹈的创作中找到了自己的信仰，在追求肢体的过程中，同时也得到了灵魂的解放。陶身体剧场一直致力于“身体教学”的摸索中。曾受邀中央民族大学、北京语言大学、陕西省师范大学、延安大学、阿姆斯特丹舞蹈中心HennyJurriens Stichting、瑞士Dance inOlten舞蹈节等院校授课。也曾在北京九个剧场、繁星戏剧村、当代MOMA艺术中心、蓬蒿剧场、北京舞蹈学院等开展公开课及工作坊。

2010年每周日陶身体剧场开展公益性公开课。

Creation is one of humanity’s most basicabilities. In the face of boredom, creation shakes us; when we losedirection creation points out a new path. In the process ofcreating, we somehow overcome the barriers that contain us ineveryday life, and we overcome ourselves.

 TaoDance Theater was founded in March, 2008, in Beijing and iscurrently composed of three independent artists. Although threeindividuals, we are brought together by a shared longing. Art ishumanity’s creation! What we long for is to use “the body” tocreate. Each body has its unique secrets, and through rigorous,sincere, and exploratory corporal research, we hope to stretch theboundaries of the flesh, and in this process of excavation todiscover the body’s unknown possibilities. This exploration of thebody and its possibilities has, for us, a kind of sacredness,because in the process of using the body to create, we have foundour own faith. In our pursuit of the corporeal, our spirit becomesfree.

TaoDanceTheater has always devoted itself to the exploration of“Danceeducation.” Tao Dance Theater has been invited to teach at theCentral University of Nationalities, Beijing Language University,Shaanxi Normal University, Yan’an University, Henny JurriensStichting in Amsterdam, etc.Tao Dance Theater has also offered openclasses and workshops at Beijing Nine Theaters, Fanxing TheaterVillage, Contemporary MOMA Art Center,etc.

陶冶毕业于重庆舞蹈学校舞蹈专业。之后加入上海武警政治部文工团。2003年加入金星舞蹈团，2004年开始独立创作,与5位当代艺术家创办了组合(嬲),并共同创作了身体戏剧舞蹈作品《舌头对家园的记忆》。2005年参加上海艺术节,创编双人舞《一个人》，在上海艺术中心首演。2006至2008于北京现代舞团，在团期间委约创作男子双人舞《爻》群舞《幻想》.2008年3月创立陶身体剧场。TaoYe graduatedfrom the Chongqing Dance School in Chongqing, China and became aperformer in the Shanghai Army Song & DanceEnsemble. In 2003, Tao Ye joined the Jin Xing Dance Theater inShanghai, where he stayed until 2006. In 2004, he co-founded theShanghai-based physical performance company "Zuhe Niao" andperformed in their first production "Tongue's Memory of Home." In2005, Tao Ye’s choreography "One Person" (a duet) was performed inthe Shanghai Art Festival. In 2006, Tao Ye joined the BeijingModern Dance Company (BMDC) where he toured internationally as wellas in China. As a member of BMDC, he choreographed"In•In” in 2006 and "Fantasy" in 2007. He foundedTAO Dance Theater in 2008. 

段妮毕业于陕西省艺术学校舞蹈专业。2004年毕业于广东亚视演艺学院舞蹈系现代舞专业，由中国著名舞蹈教育家及中国首任广东实验现代舞团团长杨美琦女士创办。在校期间，曾获“美国舞蹈节”奖学金赴美进行了六个星期现代舞的学习。毕业后加入金星舞蹈团于上海。2005年加入阿库汉姆舞蹈团于英国伦敦。2006年加入沈伟舞蹈艺术于美国纽约。多次参加“美国舞蹈节”演出,曾演出于美国纽约“林肯中心”及美国华盛顿“肯尼迪中心”。2008年8月加入陶身体剧场。DuanNi graduated from theShaanxi Art College in Xi’an, China . In2000, she entered The Guangdong ATV ProfessinalAcademy For Performing Arts . Modern Dance program . led by danceeducation pioneer and founder of China’s first modern dancecompany, Madam Yang Meiqi. In 2003, Duan Ni received a scholarshipto attend the American Dance Festival in Durham, North Carolina.After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in Modern Dance in2004, Duan Ni joined Jin Xing Dance Theater in Shanghai where sheperformed in festivals throughout Europe. In 2005 she became amember of the Akram Khan Dance Company in London, U.K. where shecontinued to tour internationally. In 2006 she joined Shen WeiDance Arts in New York, U.S.A. where she performed at such venuesas Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts,as well as toured internationally. In August, 2008, Duan Nireturned to China to joinTAO DanceTheater.

谢欣2002年毕业于江西省艺术职业学院(中国舞专业)。2004年毕业于广东舞蹈学校（现代舞专业）。2004-2005于广东现代舞团培训部导师。2005-2011年加入金星舞蹈团，独舞演员。曾多次参加世界国际巡演。2011年9月加入陶身体剧场。

Xie Xin graduated in 2002from theJiangxi Province Art Secondary School where she majored inChinese dance. In 2004 she graduated from Guangdong Dance Schoolwhere she majored in modern dance. From 2004-2005 she taught at theGuangdong Modern Dance Company Training Center. From 2005-2011 shewas a soloist in Shanghai Jin Xing Modern Dance Theater, where shefrequently toured abroad. In September 2011 she joined TAO DanceTheater.

雷琰96年就读于湖北省艺术学校，03年就读于湖北省艺术职业学院，06年就读于北京舞蹈学院继续教育学院编导班。08年毕业，成为舞蹈教师与自由舞者。曾作为演员参与过首届北京青年戏剧节，广东现代舞周，以及08年北京交叉艺术节，上海越界艺术节，第二届北京现代舞展演。09年创作个人作品参与09年北京交叉及上海越界艺术节。09年7月加入北京现代舞团至今。2011年9月加入陶身体剧场。

Trained at HubeiProvince Art School followed by Hubei Province Art Academy. In 2006entered the Beijing Dance Academy Continuing Education AcademyChoreography Program. Upon graduation in 2008 worked as danceteacher and freelance dancer. Has performed in the First AnnualBeijing Youth Theater Festival, Guangdong Modern Dance Festival,2008 Beijing Crossing International Dance Festival, Shanghai FringeFestival, Second Annual Beijing Modern Dance Festival. Performedher own choreography in the 2009 Beijing Crossing InternationalDance Festival and Shanghai Fringe Festival. July 2009 joined theBeijing Modern Dance Company. In September , 2011, LeiYan joinTAO Dance Theater.

方美昂陶身体剧场的国际拓展策划人.也是乒乓策划的艺术总监和创始人。乒乓策划旨在开发文化交流项目并推动中国和国际艺术家/艺术组织之间富有创造力的合作。方美昂2002年获富布莱特奖学金的资助来华研究中国现代舞的发展。她但任过北京现代舞蹈团的国际项目总监，奥斯卡金像奖得主作曲家谭盾的工作室总经理，也参与制作了各类国际表演艺术节。她2009-2010年获奖学金去参加美国肯尼迪表演艺术中心艺术管理学院受训，在肯尼迪中心总裁Michael Kaiser先生的指导下学习。AlisonM. Friedman is director/founder of PingPong Productionswhichfacilitates cultural exchange projects and collaborations betweenChinese and international performing artists. Over nearly a decadein China, she has served as the International Director for theBeijing Modern Dance Company, managed Oscar- and Grammy-awardwinning composer/conductor Tan Dun, and produced internationaldance festivals in Beijing. She came to China on aFulbrightFellowship to research thedevelopment of Modern dance, and most recently was an ArtsManagement Fellow at the John F. Kennedy Center for the PerformingArts in Washington DC. She is Tao Dance Theater's InternationalDevelopment Director.
