What's Smoking Like?
Usually, people don't like smoking or chewing tobacco at first.
Your body is smart, and it knows when it's being poisoned. When
people try smoking for the first time, they often cough a lot and
feel pain or burning in their throat and lungs. This is your lungs'
way of trying to protect you and tell you to keep them smoke free.

刚刚过完端午节，就在我们吃喝玩乐欢度佳节的时候，也别忘了雅思考试啊！作为中国重要的传统节日，我们在雅思的作文和口语考试当中，都有可能会遇到这样的主题。那么，现在就让我们来学习一些描述端午节的词汇和表达方式吧：
端午节(农历5月5日)是中国古老的传统节日，始于春秋战国时期，至今已有2000多年历史。
The Dragon Boat Festival, the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, has had a history of more than 2,000 years. It is usually in June in the Gregorian calendar.
端午节吃什么？“粽包分两髻，艾束著危冠。旧俗方储药，羸躯亦点丹。”端午节不可不吃的美味食物就是粽子(tsung-tse)。
粽子tsung-tse：Glutinous rice filled with meat, nuts or bean paste and wrapped in bamboo leaves. It is associated with Dragon Boat Festival with historical meaning.The custom of eating zongzi is now popular in North and South Korea, Japan and Southeast Asian nations.

这次考试总体难度系数与剑六相当。
听力Section One 是咨询车险问题，要求填充一些与车及车主相关的信息。还是比较简单的，没有长难单词的拼写。Section Two是一位女士讲述自己的工作。 题型为选择和填空，填空比较简单，但选择有很多干扰项。Section Three是一位学生咨询课程，全是填空，主要涉及到科目是否大写，名词单复数等细节问题。Section Four是关于Crafts engineering的介绍，也是NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS的填空。
总结：填空题在本次听力考试中占相当比例，所以单词拼写要特别注意！
阅读 第一篇是关于Interpretation，介绍了其发展并比较了交替传译（consecutive interpreting）和同声传译（simultaneous interpreting）。文章理解并不难，但是题目不遵循顺序原则，要求从所给的数字中选择恰当的填空很费时间，因为所给的数字都在文中出现了，需要快速筛选。第二篇讲述了人的五种感官的特点，有Matching题, TFNG题，填空题。第三篇是关于厄尔尼诺现象的分析介绍，并指出该现象与Global warming并没有直接联系。题型有List of Headings, Summary, 以及multiple cho
