接到游客并将游客带上车后,应在前往旅馆的途中就旅程为游客做简单的介绍。
(1)致简短欢迎辞,并向游客做简单的公司介绍和个人介绍。
(2)检查游客的身份证件,并顺便将身份证收齐,核对姓名及有效信息。
(3)告诉游客作为导游的职责与任务。
(4)行程内每天行程的分解介绍(景点尽可能介绍简单些,可以设置一些疑问,使游客提起兴致便已达到目的)。

机场接待是一个十分重要的环节。游客经过长时间的飞行,在第一时间有人进行热情的接待将会使游客倍感温馨。导游应该事先到机场等候游客。
飞机到达后要在众多的乘客中找到自己要接待的人。必要时,可以把客人的名字写在牌子上,举牌示意客人。找到客人后向客人自我介绍,并问候客人。同时让行李员把客人的行李送到车上,检查好行李,以免行李出错。然后请客人上车,将客人送到酒店。
导游人员在机场接不认识的旅客时可带上相应的识别标志或带上写有对方姓名的牌子,以便更快找到自己所要接的客人。

Unit 4预定房间 Reserving Rooms
预订房间的方式有现场预订、打电话预定和网上预订。
预订前要确定游客的数量、游客想要的房间类型以及住宿的时间等信息。还得注意饭店所在的地点是不是符合旅行的安排,交通便利、离游览地点比较近且价钱合适的饭店是最好的选择。
预订后要在一定时间内进行确认,如果因为各种原因要对预订信息进行修改,或要取消预定时,也应提前打电话告知饭店。
旅行之前要统计好游客的情况,并打电话去饭店为客人预约相应的房间。

确定了行程和游客人数之后,导游应该根据游客的情况和行程安排及时预订相应数量的机票,以确保旅行能按原计划进行。预订机票时要对航班进行比较,选择时间合适、价格便宜的机票。
此外,导游要提前了解各航空公司对行李的规定并告知游客,以减少不必要的麻烦。一般航空公司可免费托运20公斤行李(头等舱机票可托运30公斤)。只有少数航空公司规定,可免费托运30公斤行李。行李超重部分要付超重费。近年来,某些航空公司为提高竞争能力,对超重行李收费方面灵活处理,有时甚至不收超重费。但在满员飞行的情况下,则对此要求严格。行李箱最好是选用轻便牢固的旅行箱,便于搬运,不怕碰压。个人的行李应有明显的标记,写上中外文姓名、到达目的地等。旅游团集体的行李可用统一标记,以便识别。

导游在旅行前有必要向游客说明行程安排。必要的时候,还要征求游客的意见。
如果是事先安排好的行程,应询问游客是否满意,需不需要调整。如果是还未确定的行程,则应主动地询问游客的想法,并为游客提供所有相关的景点资料,由他们做出自己的选择,此时需要导游和游客共同商量完成旅程的安排工作。
得知游客的喜好后,工作人员可为游客推荐合适的路线,并询问对方的意见。

首先,接待人员要加强对旅行社产品的了解,力争对客户提出的每个问题都能马上做出专业的回答,这是在客户心中树立形象的首要条件。此外,对于其他竞争旅行社的相关线路、价格,尤其是与自己旅行社产品的区别,也应该有所了解。
其次,接待人员应具备设计线路的能力,如果当客户过来询问时,内心想法还不太成熟,这时候,最需要的是一个可以根据其要求设计出相应旅游线路的工作人员。
最后,要做好记录,接待人员要登记好旅游地、日期、客人的姓名、联系电话等信息,以便确定行程后与客人联系。
导游在答复游客的咨询时,应尽量详细地为游客介绍清楚旅行时间、所需费用,入住酒店等具体信息。
