这是我前些天做过的一个梦，醒来后觉得像是一个寓言，于是把它记下来。

一个小男孩，独自在海边的沙滩上用泥沙和贝壳建造他心中的宏伟城堡。

这沙筑的城堡就是他的整个世界，他听不到海浪的声音，看不到海鸥的飞翔。

这时，有一个白发老人走过，他看到这个专注的小孩，不禁停下脚步。

“孩子，你的城堡建得不错，可是你有没有想过，当夕阳西下，潮水会把整个沙滩淹没，等到第二天，沙滩上连这座城堡的一丝影子都找不到。”

小孩抬起头，看看这位长者，好像没有听懂他的话。

老人接着说道：“我在和你一样大的时候，也在这里建过沙堡。当潮水在一瞬间吞噬了我的城堡，我伤心地哭了。后来，我得出结论，是我自己选错了地点，用错了材料。于是，我重新开始，我将城堡建造在山顶上，它全部由大理石建成，我花了一辈子的时间，建造了这座城堡。”

老人一边说，一边抬起手杖，指着不远处山顶上的一座雄伟城堡，脸上流露出骄傲与满足的神情。

小男孩看了看夕阳中巍峨的城堡，又看了一眼自己毫不起眼的沙堡，不禁笑了。

老人得意地说：“我花了差不多一

    编一个好故事并不容易，做一个好导演更难。当观众看完一部电影，觉得它好，除了因为它曲折的情节和赏心悦目的画面之外，想必其中还有更深刻的东西。
　　我们从《无名先生》中看到很多现象，信鸽迷乱，蝴蝶效应，耗散原理，多维空间，时间的单向性，宇宙的膨胀和塌缩……导演罗列所有这些，只是为了讲一个寓言故事，但我感觉，他的结论和他的故事之间似乎脱节了……
　　让我们回到这个寓言的主题：人生。
　　人生是偶然的吗？就像一只南美洲的蝴蝶扇动翅膀，会导致北京的一场风暴。
　　人生是预设或注定的吗？在我们安排好一切之后，天使会触摸我们的嘴唇。
　　有一点很明显，人生中的一切都关乎我们的选择。主人公所面对的人生中最艰难的一个选择就是他9岁时在火车站必须做出的那个选择。可以说，我们所有的选择加起来，就组成了我们的人生。
　　但真的是这样吗？我们无法选择意外。就像主人公无法选择不出车祸。
　　更难以预料的是，我们无法选择别人如何对待我们。就像主人公无法选择在浴缸里不被别人枪杀。
　　最为残酷的是，即使我们能选择我们爱谁，但我们不能选择谁爱我们。

  神圣儿女，我的兄弟，同归爱的上帝。

God Wants You To Know #  351 7-24

Kahlil Gibran said that, and he was right. Listen, therefore, to your heart. Cultivate the ability to do this. Practice it. Produce it. Perfect it.

It is not that difficult. Just be quiet with yourself. And for heaven's sake, stop listening to your mind. You will not find the truth there. You may find the answer, but it will not be the truth unless it coincides with the answer in your heart.

You think there is more to know about life than this, but there is not. Your heart holds the key. Your heart holds the wisdom. Your heart holds the future. Your mind knows nothing but the past. It imagines the future will be just like yesterday, so it makes it decisions based on that. Only y

God Wants You To Know # 336 7-3

On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...

....that it could seem like you are losing something right now, but do not be fooled.  This is simply a turnaround orchestrated by your soul.

Even before this, you were. And even after all this passes away, you shall be. All the Rest Of It is stuff and nonsense. The accoutrement. The flora and fauna. Pretty, perhaps. Shiny and sparkling, perhaps. But having nothing to do with anything.

Let it go.  Release it.  If it was not supposed to be removing itself from you now, it would not be doing so.  It will never return to you in this exact form, and it is not intended to.  If it returns at all, it will be in a higher form.  That is the purpose of its leaving.  All of life only improves itself.  It can't do anything else.  This is called evo

God Wants You To Know # 309 5-26

On this day of your life, dear friend I believe God wants you to know...

.that you are a pure child of God, beautiful in your innocence -- and
That this is true no matter what you may have done.

There is no offense you could ever commit that can rob you of your

magnificence, or of the wonder of who you are. Gosh, Eliot Spitzer's

drama has brought up a lot of stuff for all of us, hasn't it? Yet who

among us hasn't fallen from the path, betrayed another, acted

unwisely, fallen prey to temptation, given in to a craving or addiction?

All of us are human. And in God's eyes that makes us perfect.

Really. Just the way we are. Like 3-year-olds, looking anxiously

up at some elder, wondering with quivering lips whether we'll get

a spanking for breaking the rules...

God Wants You To Know # 323 6-15

On this day of your life, dear friend, I believe God wants you to know...

....that medical procedures are nothing to be afraid of when God is on your side.

 And that, of course, is always.  So, since God is on your side, nothing can go wrong.  Even if you should die, nothing will have gone wrong.  Death is not the end of anything.  It is simply your Continuation Day.

 With regard to medicine then, and to all medical matters, follow your heart, listen to your soul, get good advice, then do what feels intuitively right.

 You know exactly why you received this message today.
