We've been really busy since we interned in the Children's Home. So many tasks and programs should be done. Recently, we have done some questionnaires about “social adaptation”. During these days, a boy made me thought my life, future and ideal. The conversation between us was about an hour and half. When I asked him what was his future plan, he said calmly that “People like him haven’t any plans for future, and we will die before long. Now my life is bored and the disease makes me only stayed at room, just watched television. Most of time, I needs other people’s care.

There was once a little girl who loved wearing her mother’s high heels. She used to be delighted as soon as she wore it every time although the high heels always made her tumbled. The feeling was fancy as if she had grown up. From then on, she dreamed of having her own beautiful high-heel shoes on some day. The dream was so simple and no matter what the style and the color were and what the price was, she was content with high heels.
Time went by. With her growing up, she became busier and busier with her studies. The stress made her paid more attention on the textbooks, references and the like. She seemed forget the “high heels ”. When she entered the university, she began focusing more time on other things. Suddenly, just few days ago, she recalled the dream in her childhood: seeking her high-heel shoes. However, stores full of beautiful shoe

Yesterday,
we visited the Shanghai Children’s Home together with our
supervisor Mister Shen. A great many students, when we speak of
him, tend to associate with a big smiling, smoking and talkative
man. Mr. Shen has many titles, such as university lecturer, senior
social worker, young supervisor, psychological consultant and so
on. His life is so busy that he is kind of forgetful. Everyday he
works average at least for 17 hours. It sounds that he is a
superman.
Good health is the basic of good work and there is an old saying
“All work and no play make Jack a dull boy.” I hope he will not be
a dull man. Actually, I am sure he will not.
