We carry on in Sinoland the work as heritage on part of principals from the Berlitz method (called also “direct method”). As a summary, the method in Sinoland is similar from most of top American Chinese language programs: Direct method + audio-lingual method

I took one year off from work to learn Chinese. As one year is clearly not enough to speak fluently as well as read and write perfect in Chinese I decided to put my focus more on speaking than on reading and writing. Through a friend of mine I heard of Sinoland and it turned out to be the best decision to sign up there for a one year course. I started my course in March 2009 with almost no knowledge of the Chinese language, by February 2010 I was able to converse with ease in all daily situations. My pronunciation is clear and none of my Chinese friends has problems at all to understand what I want to say.
