看着大家都在奋力耕种,博客事业好一番兴旺景象,我这个懒人已经跟不上大家的步伐,只有躲在一边暗自羡慕的份啦。说起来要迎头赶上也不是一件容易的事，最近公司的项目告一段落，稍稍放松了一下；我自己又开始张罗起买个小公寓暂且栖身，于是乎又开始脚不点地的忙忙碌碌。
购买CO-OP
APARTMENT大概只是北美几个主要大城市的独有房屋购买方式，而要通过CO-OP
BUILDING
BOARD的审查鉴定又是一件烦心事。首先准备材料一大堆，银行户头存款证明，工资单，聘用信啦等等等等，还有一条是要几封推荐信，PROFESSIONAL的不够，还要PERSONAL的。因为我和TONY以前曾经共事过一段时间，所以这回近水楼台图省事，“责令”他当晚上交一封流光溢彩的推荐信，把我好好美言几句。。。
晚上吃完饭，TONY坐回书桌边开始吭哧吭哧的码字，过了一个多小时，他过来跟我说“YOU’VE
GOTTEN
MAIL.”。我很高兴，看来还是要人催一下，这家伙动作还不慢。于是兴奋的打开LAPTOP查信。这一看，没有把我气死也要把我笑死，给大家看看他都写了啥（不用担心啊，英文写的还是很简单易懂的）：
To Whom It May
Concern,
I have known
XXX for three years. She is usually the sweetest most wonderful
person in the worold, but also sometimes goes crazy
(bendan)(笨蛋！TONY还晓得活学活用他懂的为数不多的几个中文单词）
and screams at Baobao（我们之间互相戏称宝宝，他大我小） loud enough
for people in Park Slope to hear. But that is all her Baobao's
fault, which everyone knows. XXX is highly
responsible; however, I would not suggest asking her to pay any
rent or she will leave you right away, bye-bye!!
Also, XXX is a great cook. And her Baobao is a
great re-heater of food. Together they make a fine pair, like two
little love-birds, errr... lions（我是狮子座的）.
XXX
is very thrifty and always gets a discount on designer shoes and
other "important necessities". She also tells her Baobao how to
save money so he can buy her more fun things!
Furthermore she is quiet; whenever her Baobao wants to play LOUD
ROCK CD'S LATE AT NIGHT she keeps the volume low so that if she has
to yell at Baobao he will hear her. Last but not
least, XXX is very considerate of other people,
especially Da Baobao, who she is nice to for one week every month
and buys him nice presents. And all Da Baobao has to do is buy her
little tiny gifts like Tiffany rings and Louis Vuitton bags and
then she will be nice to him for two weeks. Otherwise she will kill
Baobao, twice to make sure he's dead. Unless she's tired and it's
too much work to kill him twice, then only once.
I highly
recommend XXX to any co-op and I would happily
have her as a roommate,
especially...
