dear teacher chen,
i'm sorry that i did so badly in my final examing paper! i disappoint you, am i? but the most important thing is i become doulbt about myself. am i have the potential to study political sicience as well as research it in the future?
the scor,say 60, is a nightmare for my whole university life. and i am the last guy in my class for the first time.
howerer, i have no comments about it. i know that the only thing i can do is acceptance. i'm grateful that you let me pass the exam, and also for your excellent lectures!

2007-07-20 18:10:05actually, in my opinion, political philosophy is the most important and also the most difficult branch in the subject. i think there is one talent for several centuaries, and i deed have no gift to research it. but i have the ability to understand, enjoy and treasure it.
secondly, i can't agree with you that i have no interest in political philosophy. in fact, it is not only a subject but also a personal interest for me. the books about political philosophy take up most room of my four bookshelves. you can come to my dormitory to see it!
the most important thing in your mind is the exam. although i have read the three books for several times, i adopted wrong review-policy. therefor i recieved a terrible score.
i have two questions: the first one, i am the last student in my class in your exam, but most students whoes score is higher than me do have a better understanding than me, even just about arendt?
the second question is the students who gain a "A" in the exam have the gift to achive seccess in political philosophy?
at last, i very appreciate your lectures, and i do want to have a good performance in your class. but i have little time in the past term. i have 18 classes to attend, and i have to prepare for the GRE test. so, i can only read the three books in usual time and have not so much time to only prepare for the exam in the late term. maybe i did badly in the final exam, but it not mean i haven't study hard! did the boys whose score is higher than me spend as much time as me in studying? do you think the score is faire and reasonable, just depend on the examing paper ? -
2007-07-31 12:17:45我是这个班的一员，而且很不幸，我是这个班的一名男生。更不幸的是，我平时对这门课用功很少，但分数比这位女生高，对此我先行表示遗憾和同情。
我自己也受过委屈，我选择了跟陈伟老师写电子邮件的方式，只是为了说明我对这门课的一些理解，同时向陈老师说明了我们班的一些情况，这是不是暗箱操作我也说不清楚，至少在那封信中我努力维护了班级的荣誉，而没有进行什么利益交易。陈老师也给我回信了，每一句话都很有道理。我觉得跟老师沟通是一个很好的学习方式，如果谈论的是学术问题、工作问题，就不是讨好老师。
对于保研的一些不健康问题，这不是一个学校的特色，很多地方都有暗箱操作，希望不要因此对人大这个学校产生太深的偏见。这里要跟那位同女生争论的陌生人说明一下。
那位热心的陌生人有些地方说的很有道理，不过有几个情况你不了解：
一、那位女同学是通过分数来说明问题，不是要分数，这个考gre打算出国的女生对于所谓成绩所谓学分积的要求没有那么强烈，我是她的同学我当然知道。
二、我们班存在着男生成绩不好，用功不够的较为普遍的现象，因此我能理解这位女生在说道男生时的语气，而且作为一个对学习成绩不好而有所愧疚的男生来说，这种语气不是什么恶意攻击，我是男生中的一员，我也由衷的希望你不是我们班的人，如果是，至少你不像我说的那样“有所愧疚”。
补充一点，如果你觉得我语气很重，那么我在此说明，因为我们班有两个男同学平时课也不上却在博客上谩骂陈老师，我特别讨厌他们的行为，所以我一度误以为你是其一，当然，这种猜忌之心是一种度君子之腹的小人心，这我能承认。
对于我的那位女同学，我还是要稍微提点意见，那就是尽量注意修饰自己的语气，尽量别让别人误解自己的意思。另外，如果你选择了在这里发言，就要对别人的异议有所包容，这一点那位陌生人说的很对，别用“闭嘴”这个词汇，你英语这么好，想必也知道“shut up”是很不礼貌的。以后请注意。
