The hot weather is upon us.  We all are looking for a cool place to hide out, in hopes the summer heat will quickly pass us by.​

Here at Grandma's Nook we are air-conditioned, with seats for 20 people.  At the moment, a group of young men are playing a tournament of a card game that has something to do with the three kingdoms.  Three days into it, they spend the afternoons in comfort and competition right here.​

We are introducing a new Milk Shake/Smoothie from France [Monbana Chocolatier].  We currently offer it in two flavors:  Chocolate, and Mango-Passion Fruit.  It is refreshing.  We added our own Coffee Frappe to the mix, with a subtle hint of tiramisu flavor.  Icy cold coffee with milk, topped with a creamy foam.​

We still serves sandwiches everyday, all day.  The Hot Seller right now is the roast Chicken sandwich.  Add a cool potato salad to the plate, for only 25 rmb for both.  We also have classic BLT (Bacon, lettuce and tomato), ham and cheese grilled, and pulled pork on a round bun.  Each sandwich is only 15 rmb, an economical meal for sure.​
