Rye bread

A German customer came in looking for good rye bread.  I sympathized with him! The rye flour in China is of very low quality, and can't make a good rye sourdough bread.  It hasn't mattered in the past, because I have not had high demand for it.

This new customer, however, has motivated me.  Next weekend we should have some new rye breads on the shelf.  Let's see if the customer can tell the difference between imported and domestic rye flour.  hmmm

We again made the multigrain rye sourdough bread (the only rye in it is in the sourdough; the rest is white or whole wheat flour).  I took one home with me after work.  it was late at night and I was starving.  I ate it all (an 8 oz roll) by the time I got home.  It was  yummy!  Soft, a good spring, yet it has the healthy nutrition of cracked rye, flaxseed, oats and sunflower seeds.  I wasn't hungry any more, and I went straight to sleep.

We are ready to serve our all natural fruit smoothies, to call you off from the summer heat.  We will offer mango, strawberry, banana, coffee and mocha flavors.  They are made with homemade yogurt, not milk, so they are thick, smooth and nutritious.

Friday friends dropped by.  We sat outside, at the new table, for hours just visiting.  It is lovely, sitting out there, with a fresh breeze blowing.

I wonder why Aroma Hut Bakery keeps sending me messages here?  Hope you're having a good time, Peaches.
