左拐右转终于找到了身高180米，共41层的"小黄瓜"。 他的正式名称为-- 圣玛丽斧街30号(30 St Mary Axe)，建成于2004年， 由著名的高科技建筑师--诺曼·福斯特设计(Norman Foster)。这是一块饱经风霜的土地，曾经是世界船运交易中心--波羅的海交易所(Baltic Exchange)的总部，1992年，遭到爱尔兰独立组织的恐怖炸弹袭击，原建筑被大面积破坏，无法修复。此后，历经十二年的辗转周折，这块土地又现辉煌，新建成的"小黄瓜"成为新伦敦的标志性建筑之一。

“小黄瓜”(the Gherkin)一层的酒吧向大众开放， 可以自由进出，无须安检，酒吧外有圆弧形的长廊。

最高两层是私人会所，由一家餐厅和酒吧组成。这里是伦敦最好的看夜景的地方，比Hilton Park Lane, Tower 42, OXO Tower(牛津塔)都好得多. 伦敦塔桥(Tower Bridge)， 伦敦塔(tower of london)和圣保罗大教堂(St Paul's Cathedral)等重要的景点都近在咫尺！
