水对维持人体各项生理功能起着重要作用,但生活中很多老人只有口渴时才喝水,其实身体已处于轻度脱水状态。中南大学湘雅医院老年病科主任医师李传昶表示,临床上很多老人存在水摄入不足的情况。南方地区的老人习惯喝汤,从饮食中获取水分较多,相对不太缺水;北方老人饮食偏干,再加上不主动饮水,身体更易缺水。
喝水不足可能令机体处于脱水状态,血压偏低,血液流速减慢。对本身就有心脑血管疾病的老人来说,脱水会加重心脏、大脑缺血,甚至造成心梗、脑梗。喝水少不仅可能导致肾脏无法排出代谢杂质和有毒物质,还会形成结石或诱发痛风。老人喝水不足还会增加便秘可能;使皮肤滋润度降低,造成肌肤弹性减退;导致唾液、泪液分泌变少,不仅影响口腔健康,还易令眼睛润滑度降低,造成干眼症。
老人在5个时间点尤其要注意补水:早晨起床后、两餐之间、洗澡后、运动或做家务后、身体不适发烧后。一般人每天应喝1500~1700毫升水,老人可适量少些,但别低于1200毫升。
需提醒的是,老人血液稀释调节能力较差,一次性饮水过多,可能导致血容量升高、电解质紊乱,因此建议少量多次喝水。有心衰、高血压、肾病等的老人不能喝太多水,建议按医嘱合理喝水。摘生命时报 2020-03-24 第1399期作者:水 欣

The old people in the south are used to drinking soup. They get more water from their diet and are less thirsty. The diet of the old people in the north is dry, plus do not take the initiative to drink water, the body is more likely to lack of water.
Not drinking enough water can dehydrate the body, lower blood pressure and slow blood flow. For the elderly with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, dehydration will aggravate the heart, cerebral ischemia, and even cause myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction. Not only can drinking less water prevent the kidneys from getting rid of metabolic impurities and toxins, it can also cause stones to form or trigger gout. The elderly will not drink enough water to increase the likelihood of constipation; Reduce skin moisture, resulting in skin elasticity; Lead to saliva, tear secretion less, not only affect oral health, but also easy to reduce the lubrication of the eyes, resulting in dry eye.
