Before All Aboard, Here's something to know before check in:

A boat is a totally different from a house, condo,  you find the address, knock the door, and it will be opened. That's it. Boats (400 in Bluffers Park Marina) located in the harbor, there're gates guarding them to keep them safe. There's wonderful Summer time, but also strong coldest wind blowing, and most of boats are gone! Where? hibernate on the cradle. So, please read this message patiently, or you may lost for a while and waste more unnecessary time to get to there.

Here's something regarding TTC public transit, traffic control, directions, driving tips, parking, where to meet, and for international guests (no international phone calls, no data to use before or after arriving the marina-how to connect to me.)

If
Driving by self, very important message you got to read, or you may get lost. because there are two beaches, a couple of parking lots, a couple of boat clubs, including Bluffers Park Marina.

Welcome to Judy and Stephen Chu's The Relation Boat (Torontonian love boat) located at Bluffers Park Marina. Here are some instructions you might want to know,

by 1. TTC (Toronto public transit), 2. Driving by self, and 3. Uber service :

Taking the TTC:
1. 175 Bluffer's Park - New seasonal trial service. Bus arrives every 15 minutes from daytime until early evenings on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

this is TTC's trip planner, the total time is around 1 and half hours from downtown Union Station, Cost $ 3.00 to $6.52.

2. Driving tips: Be aware that the GPS sometimes unreliable. A friend got stuck at Brimley Rd., and St. Clair.

Be awared, due to high traffic volumes (all parking lot spaces is limited), the police may block Brimley Rd., at Brimley and Kingston Rd., trying to frustrate cars going South to the Park (Summer season, from July to Sep first Sunday-Labor day), if you tell the police that you are attending someone's party in the Marina (or best, download this picture), my slip is A28, he is sure to let you in. (They are not there to make people sad, just try to control traffic volume)。Stephenwelcomepage!

From Brimley Rd., and St. Clair, go down Brimley Rd. South for about 1.7 km, at the end of the steep mountain slope (you can tell when you see the road directing you where to go), follow the (sharp) direction according to the road, after that, you'll see 2 signpost in the middle of the road: 7 Brimley Rd. South, and Dog Fish “bluffers park dog fish”的图片搜索结果, then you are facing the post ahead, make a right turn immediately (Beware it's very short, about 25-30 meters),
then keep straight, and you will see two big welcome posts at each side of the road,

, keep on going and the Marina's office (gray)  is at your left side. Stephenwelcomepage!

I'll wait here to greet you at the Red chair (in sunny day),

or before the Gate to the restaurant at first floor (Raining day)

You can park your car in the parking lot in front of the office by yourself, Let me know a couple of days earlier after your reservation, and I can get a free parking permit for Summer season (Sat, Sun and holidays before 5pm, $ 15.00 value) for you. However, during the Summer seasons, the permit is tight, there's no guarantee that I can get one.

Marina officials are expremly friendly, but this is my personal business, it has nothing to do with the Marina, so Please don't go to the office to ask this or that. If you are not familiar with marina and the boat, I'll satisfied your all curiosities later!

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at : 416-887-4125  Stephen Chu

3. Uber: The cost varies,
4. For international guests: (with no local calling or internet access available).
Marina is nothing like a home, condo. Find the address, knock the door, and that's it-stay in your room and chatt with the host.

The Marina is so big, around 400 boats, with open view. So you need a boater to bring you in. The best for you is:
a. tell me your approximate arriving time,
b. where to find free wifi to keep contact on the road to the Marina? Coffee shops, Malls.
c. because of the high traffic volume (who knows if it may take more than one hour late to get to the Marina than you planned. highway 401 is one of the busiest HW in North America). Let me know where you are (or the Highway Exit no) as you take a break on highway rest area.
d. you can get access to the Marina's internet web service, the password is "sailboat". However, public service has no guarantee, so, if you give me the approximate time, both of us will know what to expect when delay happens.

It looks like I missed something most man feel important-wine. Beer is Ok, but absolute no wine and liquor! You wouldn't want to challenge yourself after taking that and try to walk on the narrow, swinging all the time (sometime quite hard), and slippery decks. No insurance will cover and compensate your once and forever loss-precious life.

Have a nice trip!
