With black clothes, black pants, black satchel on his body, and a pair of black glasses on his nose, he rolled up at the last row in the classroom all the time.  The most noticeable thing is he always held a big black umbrella on his hand, no matter how is the weather and never uses it. At first sight, almost all the classmates think that he must the prototype of “The Man in a Case” written by Chekhov. But what he differed from the hero’s conservative, reactionary, and strangle all the new thoughts are that he is thoughtful. On the whole, they are all so wield, ice-cold and always live in their own world. But he was a wayward freak.

The man is a bit of handsome, at least in most girls’ hearts. He is a yellow hair boy naturally, quiets fair-skinned and it nearly pale.  Maybe for curling up in the corner and seldom touch the sunshine. His hair is long, and sometimes he would tie his hair up. Several times the teacher criticized it. But he ignored her as didn’t hear, and several days later he shaved his head just like a monk, but later he putted on a black hat. He was a really freak. He always wears short-sleeved shirt in winter and overcoat in sunny days. He was oblivious to everything as cold as ice but Japanese music and literature. He lived in his own world invariably. “Latecomer” is the best nickname for him. One day, he arrived in the middle of our class, wearing pajamas! All the classmates and the teacher are stunned, but he walked with leisurely pace act as there is no one else present. A few minutes later, suddenly, he stood up and rushed out the classroom. No one knows what happened.

For the Japanese music and literature, he loves them franticly. He would scratch the desk and with his mouth wide open as mad as a hatter when he listen the fair-sounding Japanese music. Faced the university entrance exam, at this special times, his music goes into this completely new place of "live and let live", this incredible spiritual, emotional spaciousness. And he would sob and burst into a rage of tears in spite of many people stared him when he read the splendid Japanese novels. When he finished a book, no matter what you asked him, he just nodded or shakes his head and without a word. How bizarre!

He was such an elusive person. He sealed in his own jar and was known for having a "insulator" personality filled with quirky thoughts and ideas. That’s a man in a case.
