Para1: Suddenly a little rabbit jumped out in front of my horse. Startled by the white fluffy rabbit, the horse almost threw me off its back. I hurriedly tightened my grip and couldn't help letting out screams. But after we regained our calm, I was amused both by the thrill and the innocence of the little creature. Seeing it fleeing, cheerily, I turned to my dad, “Dad, can we follow it?” My dad nodded with a tolerant smile. Soon without consciousness, we were miles away up into the mountain and we lost track of the rabbit and of course, the track Uncle Paul had asked us to keep to.

 

Para2: We had no idea where we were and it got dark. We had to get off the horses and tried to figure out the way back, but after many attempts, we still failed---we got lost. I grew a bit anxious, but with dad around, I felt all right. As darkness thickened, dad believed it was safer to stay on the spot and waited for help. It was then that we enjoyed a symphony of nature---the warm breeze ruffling through the trees， the insects buzzing and other animals contributing their unique sounds… This serenity ended as we heard shouts and torches came into our sight. At this time, I felt extremely grateful, to Paul and Tina, to this vacation with my dad, and to nature.

Para1: The next day we remembered the brand-new tent we had brought with us. Mom insisted that we must make full use of it since we had brought it. David and I cast a look at Dad, hoping he could turn down her crazy idea again. Much to our frustration, he agreed unexpectedly. Mom’s eyes twinkled with pleasure. She pulled over the car and searched for the tent instantly. All of a sudden, she let out a cry of anxiety. “Oh, gosh! We left the tent in the hotel!” she burst out crying like a child. Absolutely speechless as we were, we made up our mind to head back to the hotel. Luckily, we managed to retrieve the tent and even enjoyed a night in our tent for the first time. The next day, we continued our trip pleasantly.

 

Para2: We drove through several states and saw lots of great sights along the way. The vast bright blue sky, the limitless fresh green grass, the blossoming wild charming flowers, the group of adorable sheep kept me spellbound. However, all the breathtaking and picturesque scenery faded away compared to my absent-mind and forgetful mom, it dawned on me that without all the unnecessary trouble caused by mom, the journey wouldn’t be such a fantastic and amazing experience to treasure in my childhood. It was her who brought light to our plain life. I really love my Mum.

Para1: The car abruptly stopped in front of him. Paul rolled down the window and yelled, “Come on，get in the car.” Without any hesitation, Mac jumped off the bicycle and dashed into the back seat of the car. “What a narrow escape!” Mac sighed in a shaky voice. All of a sudden, Mac let out a scream of terror with eyes wide open. The wild wolf almost caught up. Paul swung his car around immediately and headed straight towards the fierce wolf at a fantastic speed. Mac was too terrified to open his eyes, with fingers firmly crossed praying for safety. Sadly, the violent collisions directly ended the wolf’s life.

 

Para2: A few minutes later, the other two cyclists arrived. Seeing a breathless wolf lying in a pool of blood and Mac frozen with terror, they frowned in puzzlement. “Good to see you two again.” Mac came up to them in floods of tears, holding them tightly in arms. After figuring out what had happened moments ago, they gave Paul and Becky a tight hug and conveyed heartfelt thanks. When Mac gradually regained his calm, three friends waved goodbye to Paul and Becky until their car disappeared into a line of sight. And the three friends continued their bicycle trip to Alaska pleasantly.

Para1: But no more helicopters came and it was getting dark again. Looking through the thick darkness, she felt a strong sense of regret and despair surging through her body. “If only I had not quarreled with Tom.” She thought to herself. However, she didn’t lose heart, keeping shouting in her mind, “Focus! Tom must have called for those helicopters. I have to guide him tomorrow.” She picked up her courage again and managed to find a shelter to stay from the bones-chilling night. Shortly after, she collapsed in fatigue and barely kept her eyes open, sweetly dreaming of seeing Tom.

 

Para2: It was daybreak when Jane woke up. She ate some berries and then made her way along the stream, hoping to find a suitable place to guide the helicopter. Exhausted but full of hope, all of a sudden, she spotted a huge flat rock. She made a great effort to climb onto it and waited with patience. The minute the helicopter came into sight again, she waved the yellow blouse violently and yelled at the helicopter with full-strength. Much to her joy, it did capture the attention of the helicopter and the helicopter landed near the big rock slowly. Without hesitation, Jane jumped off the rock and rushed towards Tom like a flying arrow in floods of tears, hugging tightly in his arms, “please never leave me alone!”
