任仕达研究:智利工人选择工作时优先考虑通勤远近因素

(2015年12月30日,/HRoot.com/)根据任仕达智利的一个在线调查显示:在智利,20岁以下的工人将家到工作地点的距离作为去哪儿工作的重要因素。“公司位于人烟稀少的地方很难吸引和留住工人。”任仕达人力资源顾问Cristina Lobo称。

据该调查统计,20岁以下的智力工人中有50%的人在选择一份工作时,离家距离近是关键因素。年龄在20和30岁之间的智利工人中仅23%的人选择该项,而且,50岁员工中仅仅有13%的人选择离家距离近为关键因素。

 “目前,高生活质量是智利人所优先考虑的,候选人在选择企业过程中,会问及公司地址。”Lobo说。“在这种大背景下,很多市区的企业交通便利,因为如果你想征服这群年轻人,你就应该做出这种投资。”Lobo称通勤距离最好不要超过一个小时。

另一项研究发现,20岁至50岁的专业人士最看重的企业提供职业发展规划和培训。然而,50%的20岁以下的年轻人希望通勤的时间能比较灵活,超过50%的人希望能参与到公司战略发展中。另一方面,研究还显示,98%的智利人认为工作环境影响生产率,这一趋势的认同在全部50岁以上员工那里得到认同;而在20岁以下员工那里仅有50%同意该说法。

Randstad research shows workers prioritize distance from home when choosing a job

(Dec. 30, 2015,/HRoot.com/)Workers in Chile under the age of 20 cite distance to their workplace as an important factor when deciding where to work, according to an online survey by Randstad Chile. "Companies that are located in less accessible places are having trouble attracting candidates and retaining their workers," said Cristina Lobo, HR consultant at Randstad.

According to the survey, 50% of workers under 20 years of age cite proximity to home as a key point when choosing a job, compared to 23% of workers between 20 and 30, and 13% of workers of 50 years of age.

 “At present, quality of life is a high priority for Chileans, and this can be seen in the selection process, when one of the main questions for the candidates is the address of the company,” Lobo said. “Against this backdrop, many companies in the urban area have buses available, because if you want to conquer young talent, you should make this kind of investment.” Lobo states that within the selection filters, candidates do not want to take longer than one hour commuting between office and home.

Another finding of the study is that the benefit most valued by professionals 20 to 50 years is that the company in which they work provide them a career development plan and invest in their training. However, 50% of young people under 20 wish to have a flexible schedule and work from home; while those over 50 want to participate in company strategy. On the other hand, the study also reveals that 98% of Chileans argued that the work environment affects productivity, a trend that reaches 100% in workers over 50; while only 50% in the under 20 agree with this statement.
