Towers Watson appoints new Hong Kong MD
(Jul.8, 2014,/HRoot.com/) Professional services firm Towers Watson has appointed Jeffrey Tang as its new managing director for its Hong Kong office. Mr. Tang, who previously led the company’s talent and rewards practice in the territory, has worked for Towers Watson for a decade, with the last seven years spent in Hong Kong. He will also join the company’s Asia-Pacific leadership team. Towers Watson highlighted Mr. Tang’s strong track record in human resources transformations, M&A engagements and in developing human capital strategy. He has significant experience of working with clients including sovereign wealth funds, government-linked companies, family-owned conglomerates and multinationals in the region. “As we look to Towers Watson’s future in Hong Kong, we are very pleased to be able to tap Jeff’s experience and leadership,” said Bob Charles, managing director for Towers Watson, Asia Pacific.
