奶酪烤竹笋(Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan Cheese)

这是我吃的至今为止最好吃的一道竹笋菜肴,用Parmesan奶酪烤竹笋,昨晚晚餐上的一道菜。我修改了菜谱,做出来的味道特别好,特意记录下来。

This is the most delicious asparagus I have ever had. I cooked it yesterday evening for supper. I actually changed the recipe when I cooked it. I added onion power and cayenne pepper. I also sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top before put them inside the oven to start bake.   And it was really good. I now save this recipe to my blog in case I can have it whenever I need (I can not remember it and it is a very easy way to me to find it from my blog).

Ingredients:
1 pound asparagus
~ olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Some of onion power (I added myself, not from the recipe)
some of cayenne red pepper (I added myself, not from the recipe)


Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°

  1. Prepare the asparagus by removing the tough lower stalks.
  2. Place the asparagus in a large bowl, pour olive oil over, and toss to coat.
  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and toss again.
  4. Arrange on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes or until tender.
  5. Remove the asparagus from the oven, arrange on a serving platter, and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top. ( I actually put the Parmesan cheese before put them inside the oven, and it was very good.)
