偶尔发现小区里我家后面一栋楼的一楼开了一个“学校”，每天都有若干个外国家长把他们的孩子送过来，外婆说带妹妹出去玩，妹妹总要让外婆敲门送她进去，外婆哪有这个“胆量”啊。于是，好奇的我今天敲开了这家“家庭学校”的门，里面已经有5、6个4-5岁的小朋友在卧室改造成的教室里做上课前的准备工作呢，正对客厅的墙上赫然印着“光启书院”四个大字，地板上铺上了软软的橡胶垫，角落里放置了小朋友最爱玩的室内大型玩具，很安静很温馨。接待我的是个留着小胡须非常年轻但很谦逊的老外，据旁边的人介绍说这是他们的校长。我表达了我家妹妹特别喜欢他们学校的意思，校长开心的笑了，但没有直接接茬，说待会发一份邮件关于他们学校的介绍资料给我，看完后再做决定。

       刚收到了来自“光启书院”的邮件，摘抄部分：

光启书院的最小两个班级就是小班和中班，孩子们将会有一个良好的学习氛围中，通过参加满有关怀，激励的学习活动得到成长。你的孩子每日的互动都是双语的，对于孩子将来的语言学习能力的提高有很大的帮助。In the first two years (Xiao Ban and Zhong Ban) of Guang Qi Academy’s early childhood classes, children will engage in educational activities in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Your child’s daily interactions in a bi-lingual classroom will provide a strong foundation for future language learning. 

大班的课堂中，学生开始学习为进入小学做准备。教育的重点会放在数学和双语的阅读技巧等上面，打好他们将来学习能力的基础，并且让孩子们在快乐和兴趣中学习。In the ‘Da Ban’ Kindergarten class, students will begin preparation for entering primary school.  Strong foundations for future education will be emphasized as math and (bi-lingual) reading skills are nurtured in fun and interesting ways. 

1，2年级的实验课程中，孩子会根据时间和经典交叉法的原则进行教学。从世界古代史到基本的数学技巧，从动物的分类到英语能力，汉字等等的学习，可以让孩子开始掌握一些学习的工具，帮助他们更好为将来的学习服务。In the grades 1-2 experimental program, students will be taught according to the time-honored principles of the classical Trivium.
