A COLLECTION of historic Scottish documents has been given a makeover for the 21st century - as an iPhone 'app'.
Tiffany CharmsThe National Library of Scotland has released a free download that lets users of the smart phone and its iPod Touch counterpart browse the John Murray Archive.
It comprises more than 150,000 papers from the former British publishing house of the same name, which was renowned for the raft of authors on its tiffany heart ring roster - including Sherlock Holmes creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Sir Walter Scott.
