至乐(三)

1 Zhili Shu is “non-ego”. He represents the flesh body.
支离叔是 “非我”,他代表这个肉身。
2 Huajie Shu is “ego”. He represents self-nature, Buddha-nature, Qi, calmness and refinement.
滑介叔是 “我”,他代表自性、佛性、气、拙火、妙用等。
3 The two Shus combine together to shape up as a human. When the human die, they separate.
此二叔合而为一人,当此人死后他们俩也就分开了。
4 Someday, ego and non-ego watched Minbo Mountain, Kunlun Mountain and the graveyard of Yellow Emperor in samadhi. When they signed for the vast universe and wonderful scene, a caruncle suddenly grew out on the non-ego’s left wrist.
有一天,我与非我两位在心境空灵下出神的观赏冥伯山、昆仑山以及黄帝的墓地。正当他们在叹宇宙之大与景物之妙时,突然左手腕上无端端的长出了一个肉瘤来。

支离叔与滑介叔观于冥伯之丘,昆仑之虚,黄帝之所休。俄而柳生其左肘,其意蹶蹶然恶之。
5 Zhili Shu felt scared about the suddenly emerging caruncle and was afraid that it would be a tumour and would finally threat his life.
支离叔对这突如其来的怪玩意感到害怕,也对此恶瘤之可能会对其生命构成威胁而心生恐惧。
6 Zhilu Shu said to Huajie Shu, “Hey! You distasted this too, don’t you? You have supernatural power, don’t you? Would you find some way to eliminate it as soon as you can?”
于是他忍不住对滑介叔说:「喂!想必你也是很讨厌这个恶瘤吧!你不是法力无边吗?是不是赶快想点办法将之除去啊!」

支离叔曰:「子恶之乎?」
7 Huajie Shu replied, “Why do I distaste it? Everything growing out in this world is emerged by something, just like I become human by you- non-ego, the flesh body. In my opinion, all things that come into being by something are the same; they are nothing but dust, or a pile of flesh and blood. They decay and stink in no more than several days.
滑介叔回答说:「我为什么要嫌恶它呢?任何在世上长出来的东西都是假藉某些物质而出现的。就像我是假藉你这个 “非我” 的肉身而成为人。所有假藉物质而生的东西都一样,对我来说都是尘垢、都是一堆血肉,放在那儿没几天就发臭了。

滑介叔曰:「亡,予何恶!生者,假借也。假之而生生者,尘垢也。
8 Combination of ego and non-ego is life; Separation of them is death. They shift as day and night do, which is very natural.
我与非我组合在一起就是生。 分开了就是死。它们如同黑夜白昼一样值班轮替,是再自然不过的事。
9 Today we sit here to practice Zen. We are watching the change of universe. Now this change happens to the non-ego which is just beside me. It is a good opportunity for me to watch the delicate universe. Why do I distaste it?”
今天我俩坐在这儿禅修,观察宇宙大自然的变化。现在这种变化发生在我假藉者的身上,正是我仔细观察万物之妙的大好时机,我为什么要感到厌恶呢?」

死生为昼夜。且吾与子观化而化及我,我又何恶焉!」
