get about (能)各处走动: He's getting about again after his accident. 他在事故过後, 渐渐又能走动了.
get about/around/round(指消息﹑ 谣言等)传播, 流传: The news of her resignation soon got about. 她辞职的消息不久就传开了.
get above oneself 自视甚高; 自高自大: She's been getting a bit above herself since winning her award. 她获奖以来, 渐渐有点骄傲了.
get_r(sth) across (to sb)(使某事)传播或为人理解: Your meaning didn't really get across. 你的意思别人并未真正理解. * He's not very good at getting his ideas across. 他不善於表达思想.
get ahead (of sb) 领先(於某人): She's keen to get ahead in her career. 她热望在事业上出人头地.
