过去分词作宾补语法学案

Part I . Observation

Observe the following sentences. Underline the Past Participle in them and find out the function and charactoristics of the Past Participle.

1.  The villagers had many trees planted last year.

2.  They managed to make themselves understood in very simple English.

3.  They kept the door locked for a long time.

4.  Don't leave the windows broken like this all the time.

5.  He felt himself cheated.

6.  When we got to school, we saw the door locked.

7.  The boss wanted the problem discussed at once.

8.  I wish the problem settled.

9.  The thief was brought in with his hands tied behind his back.

10. With everything arranged, he left the office.

Summing up:

英语中过去分词作宾语补足语，通常用于一下几种情况:

①谓语是have，make，get等使役动词时；

②谓语动词是see, notice, watch, observe, hear, listen to等感官动词或think， find，等表示心理状态的动词时；

③谓语动词是want， wish， like， expect，order等表示“希望、愿望。命令”的动词时；

④在with的复合结构中。

其中过去分词表动作完成或被动意义，有时二者兼而有之。

此外，“have +宾语+过去分词”除了表示表"让某人做某事/让某事（被人）做"还可以表示"遭遇到某种不幸，受到打击/受. . . . . .影响，蒙受. . . . . .损失"

Eg: I had my wallet stolen on a bus last month.

Part II. Observe the differences between doing and done as object complement.

eg: He didn't notice me waiting.        I noticed him beaten.

I hear the girl singing the song.      I heard the song sung in English.

I saw him opening the window.      I saw the window opened.

一般说来：现在分词作宾补：表示动作正在进行。宾语跟它是主谓关系。

过去分词作宾补：表示动作已经完成，宾语跟它是动宾关系，若动词是不及物动词仅表示该动作 已经完成 并没有被动意义。

Eg: I had my wallet stolen on a bus last month.

1. Fill in the blanks with proper form of the words given.

2. Complete the following sentences

1、我想修这个手表，但我妻子却宁愿丢掉它。

I wanted to have my watch repired, but my wife would rather have it thrown away.
