扑克牌中的相关英语单词

扑克也英文扑克牌音译英文POKER，但在英语中说一副扑克牌是a deck of playing card，而不是a deck of poker。可见在英语中的扑克牌并非等同于中文中的扑克牌。实际上poker只是playing card(游戏卡)的一种，在国外poker往往都和赌博(gambling)联系在一起，如果想和老外玩gambling的话，下面的东东会很有帮助。

在英语中“玩扑克牌”叫"play cards"。扑克牌除去大王小王，共有５２张牌，表示一年共有５２个weeks。大王代表太阳(the sun)，小王代表月亮(the moon)。它的四个花色代表一年的四季(four seasons)，每季有１３个weeks，所以每种花色共有thirteen cards。其中Ａ为一点，Ｊ为１１点，Ｑ为１２点，Ｋ为１３点。四种花色点数之和加上一张小王，正好是３５５天，是平年；再加上一张大王是３６６天，是闰年。红（红桃、方快）黑（黑桃、梅花）两色，意味着白天和黑夜（day and night）。
