The Chongqing Municipal Government, General Charity Association in Chongqing, will soon be celebrating and recognizing the charitable works of various corporations and organizations, as well as that of many individuals of the Chongqing Municipality for their untiring and devoted work to help the needy and underprivileged of this community.

 

重庆市政府和重庆市慈善总会将在近期联合举行颁奖晚会，表彰那些致力重庆慈善事业，帮助贫困弱势群体做出不懈努力的企事业单位，民间组织和个人。

 

In making my contribution to the success of this organization, I am asking all of you to do what you can do to help those who are not as blessed as you are.  If you need a reason to give, simply read the sentences below….

Listen with love when others talk. Give your time and energy to others when they are in need; let others have their own way, you do it because it is the right thing to do; do things for reasons of love, charity, and devotion to being a good person and not for furthering your own needs.

用爱去倾听别人。当人们需要帮助的时候，付出你的时间和精力。让人们按照他们的方式去生活，做你自己认为正确的事情。你所做的一切只是因为爱，慈善和献身精神使你成为这样的一个好人，而不是任何你自身的需要。

 

When you become detached mentally from yourself and concentrate on helping other people with their difficulties, you will be able to cope with your own more effectively. Somehow, the act of self-giving is a personal power-releasing factor.

当你因专注于帮助那些有困难的人而远离自我，你能更有效地应对自身的问题。自我付出是一种人格魅力的释放。

 

That which a man willingly shares, he keeps.  That which he selfishly keeps, he loses.

You can never out-give you if you try to out-give yourself.  The more you give, the more you receive.
