金属冲压件是用一个金属冲压模或一系列金属冲压模将金属板材成形为三维尺寸形状后制成的工件。它是金属板材的一种高效表现形式。金属冲压模具装在压力机上，压力机的每一个冲程都能形成一个冲压件。并且，这种快速的冲压方式所加工出来的冲压件尺寸范围相当大，形状相当复杂，如小到钟表的秒表，大到汽车纵梁、覆盖件等。

现在，金属冲压件已经被广泛地应用在各种行业中，如：

1．汽车行业的冲压件，在我国，这部份冲压件主要集中生产在汽车厂、拖拉机厂、飞机制造厂等大厂；

2．汽车等行业零部件类冲压件，主要是冲剪成形，目前一些汽车厂或拖拉机厂的周围都有许多这样的冲压件企业；

3．电器件的冲压件，生产这类冲压件的产业算是一个新的产业，是随着电器的发展而发展起来的；

4．生活日用品冲压件，包括一些工艺品，餐具等；

5．家用电器部件冲压件，这种冲压件也是在家用电器发展起来后才出现的；

6．特种冲压件，如航空件的冲压件等就属于这类，这些工艺厂也都归在一些大厂。

从以上金属冲压件的应用领域不难看出，冲压件的大力发展应归功于汽车、飞机及日用品等的发展。

The Application of Stampings in Our Life

Metal stamping parts, a high-efficiency manifestation of sheet metal, are workpieces made after the sheet metal being formed into 3D shape by a metal stamping die or a series of stamping dies. When a metal stamping die is installed in a press machine, every stroke of the machine can produce a stamping. Besides stampings made by this fast stamping method are various in size and diverse in shape, which ranges from things small as second hands of watches to big as auto stringers and auto panels etc.

Nowadays metal stamping parts are widely applied in various industries, such as:

1. Stampings in auto industry. In China these stampings are mainly produced in automobile factories, tractor factories, aircraft factories and other big factories.

2. Stampings in vehicle parts industry. They are mainly punching-formed parts and this kind of stamping factory is basically located around auto factories or tractor factories at present.

3.Stampings in electrical parts industry. This kind of stamping is a new industry which grows with the development of electrical equipment industry.

4.Stampings in daily necessities industry which mainly contains some arts &crafts and table ware etc.

5.Stampings in household appliances industry. This kind of stamping also develops along with the growth of home appliance industry.

6.Special-type stampings like stampings for aircraft components but the manufacture of this type is also included in some big factories.

From above-mentioned application fields of stampings, we can find that the growth of stampings should attribute to the development of cars, aircrafts and daily necessities.
