顾子欣，1939年出生于上海，1961年毕业于北京外国语学院，留校任教。后曾任中国人民对外友好协会对外文化交流部主任，中国驻日内瓦联合国代表团参赞等职。现为全国对外友协、中欧协会理事，中国作家协会会员。

主要著作有：诗集《在国的星空下》，散文集《天涯共些时》、《温暖的回眸》及《旅欧诗文集》等。

其翻译作品有：《英诗300首》、《英国湖畔三诗人选集》、《阿特拉斯的巫女》（雪莱）、《老橡树》、《沉思集》等。其翻译的华兹华斯诗《孤独的收割人》、《咏水仙》、弗罗斯特诗《雪夜林边逗留》等被选入中学语文课本。

Gu Zixin, a native from Shanghai, was born in 1939. He graduated from Beijing Foreign Languages Institute and taught in the Institute. Later he was successively director of the Cultural Exchange Department of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries(CPAFFC) and councillor of the Chinese Mission to the United Nations in Jeneva. Now he is council member of CPAFFC and China-EU Association and member of the Chinese Writers’Association.

His major publications include: Under the Starry Sky of Other Countries a selection of poems, We All Share One World a selection of essays, Warm Reminiscences a selection of essays and Travels in Europe a selection of poems and essays.

His translations include: 300 English Poems (English-Chinese, biolingual), Selected Poems of English Lake Poets, The Witch of Atlas by Shelley, The Old Oak and Meditations. His translations of The Solitary Reaper, Daffodils，by Wordsworth, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost and other English poems are selected in the Chinese language textbooks for middle schools.
