职业生涯简述:
出生于1987年末的奥斯伯格也许是WRC中最年轻的车手,但是却不是个新手,因为他有着19年赛车

运动的经验,为了有足够量的练习,奥斯伯格很早起步,四岁参加摩托车赛,然后开卡丁开始自己的

四轮比赛。但是不到十岁的他就已经决定自己的拉力生涯。

他13岁第一次体验拉力,当时他的领航员是他的在斯巴鲁车队的父亲。这对父子参加了接下来三年的

挪威拉力赛。



奥斯伯格终于在2004年的夏天迎来了他作为车手的首场比赛,那时他16岁。因为年龄太小不可以参加

挪威的比赛,他的第一次拉力赛是在瑞典的Midsommerdansen,这项赛事一直为16到18岁的选手提

供一次特别的锻炼机会。在2004和2005年,他参加了7次训练赛并赢得了其中6次的冠军。

2006年,他的出色表现为他赢得了一个斯巴鲁车队的车手席位,他在WRC瑞典站中驾驶一辆翼豹

WRC2003WRC赛车以31位的成绩完成自己的WRC首秀。当年,他参加了一共三站的比赛,芬兰站

中退赛,但是在威尔士站以23位完赛。他在当年的挪威拉力锦标赛中获得第二名。



2007年奥斯伯格驾驶翼豹WRC继续自己的拉力比赛,这次他代表由Prodrive赞助的Norwegian Adapta

车队。他在瑞典站的第一赛段中取得领先,并在芬兰站中以第八名完赛,取得了他的WRC的第一个积

分。奥斯伯格当年继续参加了挪威拉力赛,这次他获得了全部七轮比赛的胜利,以巨大优势获得冠

军。



2008年奥斯伯格的拉力事业上了一个新台阶,他还是代表Norwegain Adapta车队驾驶翼豹赛车参加了

7站分站赛。结果喜忧参半,有几次出色个人表现的同时他的驾驶风格过于凶猛而使得事故率偏高。

他在威尔士站中有几次漂亮的驾驶,但是最后却退赛。不过他在家门口的表现仍然可圈可点,当年他

又获得了挪威拉力锦标赛的冠军。



2009年他驾驶一辆掀背式翼豹代表Adapta车队参加了七站的比赛,而这辆车曾经Petter Solberg也想

驾驶。但是和Petter一样,奥斯伯格没有很好掌控这辆车,在第一站站中表现平平。在不久以后他结

束了与领航员Ole Kristian Unnerud的长期合作,在随后的意大利站中由他的女朋友 Ole Kristian

Unnerud 担任临时领航员,并获得第七。



随后,Jonas Andersson在09年最后四站和奥斯伯格一起比赛,但是在获得希腊站的第七后,最后三

站都因撞车退赛。但在挪威拉力赛中的又一个冠军头衔多少是个安慰。

Career summary:

Born at the tail end of 1987, Mads may be one of the youngest drivers in the WRC but with 19 years of motorsport experience he's certainly no novice. To squeeze in that amount of practise Mads got things off to an early start, competing on motorbikes from the age of four, then progressing to four wheels at the karting circuit. But before his age hit double figures Mads had decided rallying was for him.

His first taste of rally competition came aged 13, when he co-drove his father Morten in a Subaru Impreza WRC. The pair competed on national rallies for the next three seasons.

In the summer of 2004, aged 16, Mads made his debut as a driver. Not yet old enough to drive in Norway, his first rally was Midsommerdansen in Sweden - an event which featured a special 'education' class for drivers aged 16-18. In 2004 and 2005 he started seven education class rallies and won six of them.

In 2006 his successes landed him a seat at the Subaru Norway Rally Team and he made his WRC class debut on Rally Sweden - finishing 31st in an Impreza WRC2003. He competed two more WRC rallies that year; retiring from Rally Finland but finishing 23rd on Wales Rally GB. He also finished second in the Norwegian Rally Championship.

For 2007 Mads continued with an Impreza WRC, this time contesting in six world rallies for the Prodrive-supported Norwegian Adapta team. He took his first stage win on Rally Sweden and his first WRC point when he finished eighth on Rally Finland. Ostberg also contested the Norwegian Rally Championship again - this time winning the series in dominant fashion by taking victory on each of the seven rounds.

Mads' WRC programme shifted up a gear in 2008, with a seven round WRC programme - again with an Adapta / Prodrive Subaru Impreza World Rally Car. Results were mixed, however, with some excellent individual stage performances offset by a tendency to push too hard and make mistakes. He rounded off the season with some remarkable times on Wales Rally GB, but retired before the end. Things looked good on the home front, however, and he became National Rally Champion once again.

In 2009 Mads contested a seven round programme with the Adapta Team, using the same hatchback Impreza World Rally Car Petter Solberg had been expecting to drive. Like Petter, however, Ostberg failed to get comfortable with the car, and struggled on the opening rounds. He parted company with long term co-driver Ole Kristian Unnerud shortly after, and went on to finish seventh in Italy accompanied by a temporary replacement; his girlfriend, Veronica Engan.

A longer term replacement, Jonas Andersson, was on board for the final four rallies of the year, but after a seventh place in Greece, they crashed out of the final three. Another title win in Norway was some consolation.
