A bunch of
burst across my path
& all over a bush
as I was walking to work
wearing their cruddy feathers again—
I don’t guess they ever change.
Moved so fast, I
never counted them—
talked, sang—& were off again—
before I could decipher
what language they were negotiating in—
all over the blue & clouds &
& as nowhere to be seen as seeds
before I realized they’d visited me!
Anthem For Humanity
Spiral thru the cosmic sea!
Hues like stones & pottery,
stunning truth & flattery!
Some are drunk with
unaware of right & wrong;
some are sad & reel from blows
& strive to readjust with song!
More aware than
ant or star-fish, grass or tree!
Susceptible to vanity,
wrath, & generosity!
& borders, schemes of fools
make your thumbs & minds the tools
of war, instead of victory
over drought, flood, injury!
Spiral thru the cosmic sea!
Child & elder, woman, man—
plan, & humbly act your plan!

about it. And he started writing poetry as part of his life’s work
with no intention of quitting it, got submerged within it for a
greater cause to change the humans from being too materialistic
towards humanitarian and spiritual essence in life. Apart from
this, Eric Chaet is a turnaround artist who gets research
assignments in space exploration, commerce, obsolete industrial or
agricultural equipments .Many a time he accepts Walt Whitman as his
ideology in poetry writing. Poet Eric Chaet is the ambassador of

Wisconsin in USA.In 1974 his book of Poems : ‘Old Bazzard Of No
Man’s Land’ got published from Toronto, Canada. And in 1977 the

USA. Eric’s Poems have already been published in USA, Canada, India
and in many European nations and eulogized for his revolutionary
style and new thoughts. His style of long verse is being adopted
from Walt Whitman. Eric, indeed believes in using his life to
change the world with stereotype thoughts towards a new vision of
reality, truth and spirituality much beyond the understanding of
common masses and they get delineated through his
poetry. Sometimes they seem very much revolutionary too. A Russian
descendent Eric has been influenced by his parents who never took
religion so seriously, but put the truth of life as symbol of their
existence. So his poetry always gives new message to the readers
all over the world.
