数字的读音要分清楚，尤其是“十几”和“几十”（thirteen and thirty ,fourteen and forty, fifteen and fifty），这些英美人士常常听错，所以有不少雅思听力题，都与此有关，也是考试的设计点。

1) 电话号码

a.“0”表示方法，zero(TOFEL)， null, nil, nothing等，在IELTS考试中“0电话号码中 “0” 读作字母“o”。

 b. 读电话号码的规则是：国家代号、地区代号和具体号码分开来读，比如中国南京的一个电话读作86，25，

8323－1558， 7位的号码，读的时候前三位一组连在一起，后四位一组连在一起，中间有一个停顿，比如625-4598；8位的号码，可以四个一组来读。

c. 两个相同数字double或三个相同的数字triple，比如224-6555可以读作double two four，six triple five。

 d. 末尾出现三个零，可以按“千”来发音，如979-6000

 e. 数字加字母的组合，注意2个o, e和w的读音区别

 f.  none/to be advised “事后告知，留待核实”

2) 门牌号   以数字读出

   花园街197号——No.197, Garden Road,

3) 数量的分位计数

   trillion, (billion)=thousand million, million, thousand, 先写下逗号,并与之相应单位连接起来。

4) 分数 分子是基数，分母是序数 分子大于1时，分母加s。例如 ：

 2½:two and one half; two and a half

9¾：nine and three-fourths

5) 小数  小数点读point，零点几中的零可省略，直接读point， 0.25——(naught) point two five    

6) 百分比    percent，per cent  

  0.46%： point four six per cent
