Wie Ties For 7th At Q-School, Earns First LPGA Card

It’s still not a win, but big improvement. Nineteen-year-old Michelle Wie finally has a tour card comfortably making throughout① the LPGA Q-school this week. Tie for 7th finishing up on Sunday with good enough 74 no more lying on sponsor’s exemptions②. She has a place to play.
It’s a good feeling. You know, I really earned it. You know, I literaturely went to Q-school, went to the first stage, went to the second stage, you know, took my medicine③, and I really got it. You know, it’s the qulifying and it feels good to be, you know, get that card. So, like you guys gratulation, I guess. But, it’s really fast like I played on that tour for seven years now It’s just like I really finally got it.
Taking a look at Mechelle Wie’s journey. Qualified for 2002 LPGA Takefuji Classic setting LPGA record④ for youngest player to qualify for LPGA event. At thirteen, made the cut at 2003 Kraft Nabisco Championship and another big record for youngest player make the cut at LPGA event. She tied for 9th. In 2003 she played on PGA Tour at Boise Open. Signed for 10 million with Nike and Sony. On Sunday, Wie earns the LPGA tour card by finishing tie for 7th at Qulifying and, by frankly, right now the tour needs her.
