大象是生活在陆地上最大的哺乳动物。有两种典型的象----非洲象和亚洲象。非洲象主要居住在非洲草原，亚洲象主要分布在印度、斯里兰卡、泰国、缅甸和我国云南等地。

非洲象有着大大的耳朵，而亚洲象的耳朵要比非洲象的耳朵小些。

象的鼻子没有骨骼，是由强壮的肌肉组成，非常有力。鼻子的前端很灵活，可以握住细小的东西

一头成年大象一天大约需吃300千克的食物。它们主要以树叶、果实、树枝、竹子等为主食。

Elephants are the biggest animals on land. The world has two kinds of typical elephant- African elephants and Asian elephants. Asian elephants live in India、Thailand、Myanmar and  Yunnan China. African elephants live in African grassland .

African elephant’s ear is very big. Asian elephant’s ear is smaller than African elephant’s ear.

Elephant’s nose has not bones , but its nose is very strong . Its nose’s front-end is flexible , it can catch small things .

An Elephant eats 300 kilograms of food each day. They always eat leaves、fruit、branch and bamboo.
