在北京驻村的比利时艺术家Reinaart
Vanhoe在安定门宾馆租了两间房间，“希望用这种非常规的形式更亲近随意地展示作品，展览的作品形式十分自由，如，一些小的纪录性作品、简短的演讲、陈列一些实物作品，播放影像甚至播放声音作品等等。”为期5天。
Reinaart Vanhoe is a Belgium artist based in Amsterdam. He's been in residency in Beijing since mid this year. Also Space is a project he initiated and currently taking place in two rooms he's rented in Andingmen Hotel for five days. For this project, he's invited artists, musicians, architects, art critics, designers and dancers to contribute with an art work, a film, a conceptual project, a text, some reading materials, a talk or a dance.
This evokes "the sixties notion of the "free school" to construct an experiment in education and collaboration. Inspired by faerie circles, tea parties, queer rituals, group therapy, ceremonial magic, quilting bees, circle jerks, and other spiritual, psychological and social forms, the participants will work with each other and with AA Bronson to construct a context in which to develop their individual projects. Readings and group discussion will include diverse topics related to art, healing, ritual, sexuality, and spirit." a description taken from e-flux newsletter for The Banff Centre - Visual Arts.
