红河哈尼族彝族自治州位于云南南部，与越南毗邻。红河发源于云南省中部，由西北向东南奔流。上游有东、西两条主要干流，东干流发源于楚雄州禄丰县境，称东河；西干流发源于大理州巍山县境，称大西河。两河在楚雄双柏、玉溪新平县界交汇，水量骤增，称嘎洒江、漠沙江。流入玉溪元江县境，亦称元江。中游进入红河哈尼族彝族自治州，流经红河、石屏、元阳、建水、个旧、金平、蒙自、河口等县市境，在河口县城旧街处与南溪河汇合后流入越南，经河内市注入南海北部湾，在下游形成了富饶的红河三角洲。Red river Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture is in the south of Yunnan and close to Vietnam. Red river starts from the center of Yunnan and flowing from the northwest to southeast. There are two main rivers- east and west-as the upstream，the east part is from the Lvfeng county in Chuxiong called，East river；the west part is from the Weishan county in Dali，called West river. These two rivers join together in Chuxiong Shuangbai，Yuxi Xinping county where the water rising up quickly，we call them Gasa river and Mosha river. Flowing into Yuanjiang county in Yuxi，it is called Yuan river. The middle course is through Red river Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture flowing along Red river，Shiping，Yuanyang，Jianshui，Geyang，Jinping，Mengzi and Hekou，etc. After coming together with Southy river at the Hekou county，it goes to Vietnam through north bay of South sea in Henei，forming this rich Red river delta
downsteam.

13《红河为什么这样红》Why was the red river so red?

翠绿的表面下就是红红的泥土，在雨水的冲涤下流入河里，染红了整条河流。Under the green surface was the red soil and it flushed into the river after being washed and dyed the entire river red.

二、抚仙湖Fuxian Lake

位于玉溪市澄江、江川、华宁三县间，距昆明60多公里。湖面面积216.6平方公里，湖水容积为206.18亿立方米，仅次于滇池和洱海，为云南省第三大湖。最深处为155米，是云南省第一深水湖泊。抚仙湖是我国已知的第二深水湖泊。Located among three counties of Chengjiang，Jiangchuan，Huaning，Fuxian Lake is 60 kilometers far from Kunming and the area of lake is 216.6 square kilometers and the volume is 20.618 billion cubic meter as the 3 rd lake in Yunnan following Dian River and Er Sea.The deepest point is 155 meters where is the deepest in Yunnan. And Fuxian Lake is the second deepest lake as we know.

1《仙湖人家》Xian lake family

湖边正吃早餐的人家，桌上倒有点像丰盛的午餐，非常真正的早餐啊！This is a family beside the lake having breakfast. Looking at the dishes on the table，it is rather lunch than breakfast.

据说抚仙湖里有一种珍贵小鱼——抗浪鱼，抗浪鱼是一种比较古老的鱼类，只有在抚仙湖这样的高原深水淡湖中才能生长，因此显得十分珍贵。它就是这样捕上来的。 It is said the lake has one kind of precious fish——The anti-wave fish，the anti-wave fish is one quite ancient fish，only be able to grow in the lake which had such deep water，therefore it is precious. People catch it like this.
