梅莉莎老师的信（见上篇博文）中提到，学校讲圣哲故事和神话寓言，不久前发生个有趣的小故事。12月6日是圣尼古拉日。我刚好用iPad记下了有趣的一幕，贴在了我的脸书日记上。下面是照片和中文翻译。

我两个女儿都在一个华德福学校上学，那里常教圣人的故事，并庆祝各种圣人的纪念日。今天是圣尼古拉日，我第一次听说。根据太太的指示，我让父亲给孩子们留两个桔子，因为妞妞写了一封信（英文的），还把鞋子留在了外面。还没有见到信，爷爷就用中文写了一封回信（见照片）。我一直有点担心…… 从学校回来后，妞妞看到了，又高兴又骄傲，说明天要带到班上给大家看 ：）♥

Both of my daughters go to a local Waldorf school that teaches saints story and celebrates all different saints day. Today is St. Nicholas day (which I heard the first time). Per my wife's instruction, I told my dad to leave two oranges for the kids, because Esther wrote a letter and left her shoes outside. Without seeing the letter, the grandpa wrote a reply, in Chinese, "Kids, how are you? I received the letter you wrote, and now give you two oranges. May your wish come true. Saint". I was a bit concerned... Coming back from school, Esther is so happy and proud, and she will show the letter to her class tomorrow :) ♥
