Christian College这周的实习又结束了，明天去Geelong College.早上Don给我电话说那边明天早上第一节有一个小时的中文课，问我去不去。因为时间太少了，又怕我住得远那么早过去不方便。他说帮我找了另外一个学校，但是在城的另外一边，更远。我说我还是去这边吧，这个学校比较好。嘿嘿。

Don听说我的supervisor是Mrs. Reddol，他很激动的告诉我，我真幸运，因为这位老师非常的棒！

前天的数学课是我带的第一堂课，老师评价还不错。时间没有多长，就45分钟。

今天又带了一节，handwriting lesson。时间稍微长一些了，从第3节课开始一直午饭后，第4节。

因为今天有点超出时间了。而且老师好象有意把班级交给我，所以中午基本都是我在安排，只到我让他们完成了今天的任务，给完学生奖励，发了handwriting certificate以后，再把班级交给她。但其实最后一节的inter-study，还是做有关海洋的project。所以，基本上还是我在带着他们。小朋友们会不断的请你帮忙，上网搜索信息啦，要打印信息啦，找图片打印啦，写内容啦，等等。总之，就是没个停就对了。

过几天再把这次海洋生物介绍的project放上来。今天先放另外一个。

最近天气异常的冷，教室都开暖气了，看来冬天快到了！

又该囤积脂肪，准备过冬了，我饿......

我实习的学校之一 Christian College

下面一起来看看澳大利亚小学生都在做些什么吧。

Incursion, about ocean.

这个工作人员来自于Geelong海豚研究所，2年级的学生这几周的inter-study与海洋生物有关。

课程内容都于海洋有关，这部分是讲环境。

海洋的污染

小学生不论在excursion or incursion，通常都会很认真，因为小孩总是对稀奇的事情充满好奇。当然也就会很认真的去寻找答案。

这是我在备课呢，我给大家上一堂数学课 关于时间

因为这是一个基督教学校，所以小朋友们很多的活动都与神有关，比如这个。还有每天的grace and pray。

放学后所有家长等待在门口，没家长接的就坐校车回家。

下面是我关于自己第一节课的评价：

Self-reflection

Based on it was the first lesson for me, I think it was fine. However, I still have a long way to go to achieve a high quality of teaching. Because I found the class management was the most difficult skill for me during my class.

It was a Maths class, and the content was about Time.

Firstly, I asked my students brainstorm and I asked some questions to them (eg. Why we need time?). 

Then we did an activity which ask them to demonstrate an exactly hour by using their bodies (eg. 12 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 3 o'clock etc.). Considering my students are all beginner, so we only teach them HOUR and HALF OF THE HOUR this week. The students were love the activity. However, it was been discontinued because they were too noisy and without discipline (a little bit sad).

When I started to talking our tasks (I have to do these tasks with them, before asking them to do their exercises by themselves). There are some students began to talking with others. Unfortunately, I could not control the situation satisfactorily. 

Sometimes I big worry about my language and also I am afraid to giving them warning and higher my voice .

To be honest, I have ever never getting nervous in my class. Maybe it was because I gained lots of chance to practice in China before I came in Australia. And I enjoy play we children, even it is a fatiguesome job. Lol:)

Anyway, the supervisor gave a good evaluation for me, however I knew it was a manner to encourage me. 

I need working harder and harder in my further teaching.
