A: My major is Business Administration. I am especially interested
in "Marketing".

A: My major subject is Physics and my minor subject is Practical
Mathematics.

A: I majored in Economics.

A: I graduated from Fudan University.
I: When did you graduate from university?
A: I graduated from Shanghai Normal University in 1990.
I: Which schools have you attended?
A: I finished primary school in 1980, and entered high school that
September. I graduated from high school in July of 1986 and then I
entered Jiaotong University.

A:I am attending Shanghai Institute for Foreign Trade.
I:What year are you in ?
A:I am a senior student.
I: Have you received any degrees?
A:Yes. First, I received my Bachelor degree in English Literature,
and then an MBA degree.

A:From Jiaotong University..
I:What course did you like best?
A:Project Management. I was very interested in this course when I
was a student. And I think it's very useful for my present
work.
I:How did you get on with your studies in college?
A:I did well in college. I was one of the top students in the
class.
I:Do you feel that you have received a good general training?
A;Yes, I have studied in an English training program and a computer
training program since I graduated from university. I am currently
studying Finance at a training school.

I:Please tell me your present job.
A:I am working in a garment factory. My present job is to inspect
the quality of products. Comparatively speaking, quality control is
rather simple. Although I do my job well, I am looking for a new
job which is more challenging.
I:Have you ever been employed?
A:Not yet. I originally planned to go abroad to study after leaving
college, but I couldn't get a visa
I:Your resume says you have had one ~ S experience working in a
foreign representative office in Shanghai, may I ask why you
left?
A:I worked in a foreign rep. office for one year. However, I left
there two years ago because the work they gave me was rather dull.
I found another job which is more interesting.
I:Have you done any work in this field?
A:Yes, I have worked in this field for four years. First, I worked
in an American company as a sales representative, then I
transferred to a Hong Kong company as a sales manager.
I:What kind of jobs have you had?
A:I worked as a business coordinator in a foreign representative
office, then I transferred to a joint venture as a sales manager.
So I am familiar with the textile market in China.
I: What qualifications do you have that make you feel you will be
successful in your field?
A: First ,I think my technical background is helpful. I have enough
knowledge to market the products of your company. Secondly, I have
studied for four months in a Marketing Training Program with
satisfactory results. Finally, I have mastered the English
language. These qualifications will make me successful in my
career.
I: What have you learned from the jobs you have had?
A: I have learned a lot about business know-how and basic office
skills. In addition, I learned at my previous jobs how to cooperate
with my colleagues.
I:Can you get recommendations from your previous employers?
A:Yes, I have brought them with me. Here they are.
I; What's you major weak point?
A:I haven't been involved In international business, so I don' t
have any experience, but I have studied this course in the
International Business Training Centre of the Shanghai Foreign
Service Company.
I: What are your greatest strengths?
A I know a lot about flow the Chinese economy works, and how
business is done here. Secondly, I speak English fluently. I have
no difficulty with language. And, I am a hardworker when I have
something challenging to do.
I: Please tell me about your working experience.
A: I have five years experience in the chemical industry since I
graduated from college. First of all I worked as an assistant
engineer in the No.1 Chemical Industry Co. Three years later I
transferred to ABC Chemist Industry Company. Now I am working in
the Sale Department of that company.
I:Does your present employer know you are looking for another
job?
A:No, I haven't discussed my career plans with my resent employer,
but I am sure he will understand

I:How do you spend your spare time?
A:I am interested in many things. For example, my hobbies are
playing bridge, tennis and collecting stamps. Nowadays, since we
are all busier, my friends and I have less time to get together.
Instead, I spend more time reading books while listening to
music.

A:Frankly speaking, I am not so interested in sports as most boys
are. I only like watching football and boxing matches on TV.
Football and boxing are very exciting.
I: What kinds of sports do you like to watch or play?
A:I like almost all sports. I enjoy both playing and watching. In
particular, I like tennis and swimming.
I:Do you think you are introverted or extroverted?
A:Ocassionally I enjoy being myself very much more often I like
sharing activities with others,
especially during recent years.
I:What kind of personality do you think you have?
A:I always approach things very enthusiastically. When I begin
something, I don't like to leave it half-done. I can' t concentrate
on something new until the firt thing is finished.
I:What is the most important thing for you to be happy?
A:Different people have different ideas. I think the most important
thing for me is having a good relationship with my family members
and my friends. My family has always been very close knit, and my
friends and I spend a lot of time together. We all depend upon one
another for moral support. Without that I would be much less happy
than I am..
I:What makes you angry?
A:Dishonesty. It's unacceptable.
I:Do you think you are more outwardlooking or more
inwardlooking?
A:I am not really sure perhaps both. Sometimes I want to be alone,
but sometimes I prefer being with a group of people.
I: What are your greatest strengths?
A: As an electronic engineer with five years, experience in this
field, my technical background and work experience are my
strengths. Also, I can communicate with foreigners in English in
both technical and business fields without difficulty. My English
language ability helps me a lot.
I:What are your personal weakness?
A I'm afrald I'm a poor talker. I'm not comfortable talking with
the people whom I have just met for the first time. That is. not
very good for business, so I have been studying public
speaking.
I:Are you more of a leader or a follower?
A:I don' t try to lead people. I'd rather cooperate with everybody,
and get the job done by working together.
I:Do you have a lot of friends, or just a few?
A:I have many close friends, about ten. We set together very
often.
I:Do you smoke?
A:Yes, sometimes, when I'm with my friends.
I:What basic principle do you apply to your life?
A:Not to put off till tomorrow what you can do today. I have found
out that time and money get away very easily you think you have
them, and they're gone. Putting things off just makes it worse
later, so even if it' 5 hard at the time, I try not to
procrastinate.

A:My major is accounting, so I am w6?king as an accountant in the

majored in English in university; and I received a high score on
the TOFEL exam.

A:Yes, I like traveling. I am young, and unmarried. It's no problem
for me to travel frequently.

A:Overtime work is very common in companies. I can work overtime if
it's necessary, but I don't think we will work overtime
everyday.

A:I'd like to work in the textile department if possible, because I
have been in this line of work for many years.

A:I think I would work here for long time if I like the job, and I
feel I am making progress in my work.

A:No9 I don't like regular work. I am interested in different
projects with new op;)6rtunities and new challenge, but I can do

A: There are only three people in my family. My father, mother and
me.
I: Do you spend much time talking with your family?
A: Yes, I like talking with my family. We share information. People
often say there is a generation gap, but I don't think there is one
in my family. We all take time to talk with each other. In
particular, we all get together at dinner to eat and talk. Dinners
are very lively in my family.

A:My parents.
