     The results of the election are of concern to us all.

 

   v.     (about, with)  worry ,trouble   使关心,使挂念

    If something concerns you, it worries you.

   Examples:

  The state of my father's health concerns us greatly.

 

  shift:   v.    Shift(sth /sb/oneself)(from…/to    change in position or direction; move from one place to another转变;转移

    风由东转向北.    

   The wind shifted from east to north.

    Media attention has shifted recently onto environmental issues.

          A shift in opinion or situation is a slight change in it.

 translate:

You say what if at the beginning of a question when  you ask about the consequences of something happening,   especially something undesirable.

Examples:

What if the rumor is true?
