Dear reader,
what do I expect from the Olympics in Beijing 2008?
I am looking really much forward to the Olympics, no matter if I qualify or not. It is my huge dream to participate and win the Olympic games where the youth of the world comes together in friendship but competition to celebrate sports. I think everybody enjoy seeing moments of victory and I think it must be even more special to play or even win the Badminton event when the Olympics is in China, where the interest of the public in Badminton is much bigger than in nearly any other country in the world.
I think it is important for Badminton to promote itself at this event and I hope anybody involved is aware of that and will feel the wish not only to follow selfish goals but also want to present our sports in the best way. For sure it is most important when it comes to the players that they try to perform their best, but what I mean is that the attitude towards the media and the public is very important to make a good impression.
Finally I want to say that I am sure it will be a outstanding event for anybody participating and for the spectators in China and around the world.

有人问我，我对2008年北京奥运有什么样的期待？
我想对大家说，不管我能不能取得参赛资格，我都非常期盼参加08年的北京奥运。奥运会是一次盛大的聚会，能够和来自全世界的年轻选手们在友好的氛围下角逐奥运会奖牌是我的梦想。我想每个人都渴望胜利的那一刻，特别是在羽毛球受到极大关注的中国，能够参加比赛甚至是赢得奖牌的话，那将会是一次特别的体验。
我认为从事羽毛球这项运动的每个人都应该尽自己最大的努力推动此项运动的发展，而不是仅仅局限在争取个人成绩这一自私的层次上。当然，选手们在比赛中争取好的表现是无可厚非的。我要说的是运动员所展现出来的对比赛或者媒体的态度，对大众的影响是很大的，因此如何给观众们留下美好的印象是每个运动员都值得思考的问题。
最后我想说的是，我确信08年的北京奥运，无论对来自全世界的运动员或者观众来说，都将是一场丰盛的运动晚宴。

Now there is exactly 365 days to the Olympics, and the big dream of an Olympic medal is getting closer and closer.
The qualification for is already started and my partner and me has not had the best start, but we will fight hard so we hopefully can be in top 10 in men’s double within 6 months. Because of my partners injury last year we are not playing world championship, so we are in Denmark preparing for Japan and Chinese Taipei Open in a month.
Today it has been in the TV that there is exactly one year to Olympics, to be honest my heart beats a little bit faster whenever I hear the words: “2008 Olympics”. It’s my biggest dream to win a medal and hopefully it will come true in a little more then a year.
