On the one hand, he reveals the existential realities of post-industrial society, such as disasters, diseases, crimes, death, and their derivative tribulations, misgivings, and psychical struggles, etc.; on the other hand, he sticks to exploration and act as of humanism and idealism, taking poetry as the form of poetic concern to express perseveringly his solicitude, philanthropism, commiseration for or of life status, as well as spiritual salvage and promotion, so as to uplift and upgrade the spiritual realm of human beings.
Poems by Mr. Ye Shibin are massive, majestic, refined, profound, and classical; on the basis of his consummate skills and deep philosophy, he has established his own unique system of art and thought.
