丹麦丹佛斯批评澳利威打压中国基层工会的恶劣行为

   丹佛斯批评澳利威老板在中国大陆打压中国基层工会恶劣行为

   在12月15日丹麦工人联合会收到烟台澳利威工会的信件后(详情见:http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_4d515b740100bqvp.html),就立即约澳利威老板、以及澳利威老板的大客户丹佛斯等相关各方,再次进行紧急磋商。

   丹佛斯是澳利威老板的大客户,根据丹麦3F给烟台澳利威工会以及丹麦工会官方网站等的消息称,澳利威老板正处在丹佛斯的批评压力之下,希望工会的维权能获得胜利。

 

 

 

    2008年12月20日,丹麦工人联合会(简称3F)发表了丹佛斯批评澳利威老板在中国大陆打压中国基层工会的新闻。现烟台澳利威工会转载该新闻的英文原件。

Criticism from Danfoss pressing Ole Wolff
Danfoss criticizes conditions at Ole Wolff factory in China in a study. It has pushed Ole Wolff for dialogue.

The Danish electronics company Ole Wolff has been criticized heavily for their treatment of employees and their union at the factory in Yantai in China. Ole Wolff was particularly guilty of illegally having sacked trade unionists at their factory.

Danfoss is a customer of Ole Wolff, and therefore Danfoss has been in China and investigate the case to determine whether the company has violated workers' rights.

Head of social accountability of the Danfoss Malene Ostergaard started the investigation after the newsletter 3F said criticism of Ole Wolff.

- We have sent someone out to look at the situation and have had a dialogue with 3F and Ole Wolff. We found some things that were not in order, and we have said that it must solve Ole Wolff says Malene Ostergaard.

Danfoss require their suppliers to comply with the company's Code Of Conduct, which is a set of rules for, among other things, trade union rights. The investigation, according to Ralph Østergaard shown that Ole Wolff has violated Danfoss' Code Of Conduct.

Ole Wolff 'director Rasmus Wolff has previously denied that there were problems with the employees to be solved.

But criticism from Danfoss has been Ole Wolff to meet with both Danfoss and 3F, to find solution to the problems at the factory in China.

So far, the union won a partial victory, while Ole Wolff has agreed to pay the six who were fired illegally, and the union chairman, who also was fired, a compensation. Although the compensation is far below the amount that the union believes they are entitled. And there are still several unresolved issues, believes the union.

3F following this issue
International Secretary of 3F Sune Bøgh feel the matter closely.

- I am pleased that Danfoss has taken the matter seriously. It has helped to put pressure on Ole Wolff to find a solution, "said Sune Bøgh.

He expects the Ole Wolff will abide by the criticism that Danfoss and 3F has raised.

Ole Wolff has cut production so that they now only has 30 employees at the factory, while a year ago had 200 employees. The trade union chosen have all been fired, making it difficult to continue the independent trade union at the factory.

- Danish firms should not be allowed to violate its workers' rights, just because the factory is far away from Denmark. I hope the leadership at Ole Wolff factory in China succeed in getting rid of the union. Our goal is that it can continue, but it requires that Ole Wolff shows a real willingness to solve problems, "said Sune Bøgh.

It has not been possible to get a comment from director Rasmus Wolff.

丹麦工人联合会国际部部长SUN对丹佛斯这种负责任的态度表示赞赏,并希望澳利威老板尽快接受丹佛斯和丹麦工人联合会对他的批评。但是现在丹麦工人联合会从澳利威老板那里所得到的答复是不能接受的。丹麦工人联合会将继续跟踪这一事件。
