《天国王朝》剧情简介：
     巴利安是一名法国农村里的铁匠，他的妻子因丧子之痛而悲愤自杀。这一天，一个叫戈弗雷的贵族来到他面前，自称是他父亲，并要求巴利安和他一起去圣城耶路撒冷。巴利安开始没有答应，但后来他杀了抢夺他妻子遗物的神甫后被迫逃亡，赶上戈弗雷。在途中，戈弗雷遇袭死去，临死前戈弗雷让巴利安继承他伊贝林男爵的爵位并要求他到耶路撒冷拉丁王国效忠十字军国王鲍德温四世（身患麻风病的国王，一代名君）。在圣城耶路撒冷，巴利安遇到了王子居伊美丽的妻子希碧拉公主，两人相爱了。国王鲍德温四世去世后，一个叫雷诺.查狄伦的贵族挑起了基督徒与穆斯林的战争。在战争中耶路撒冷军队全军覆灭，国王居伊被俘。埃及王萨拉丁的大军兵临城下，为了希碧拉公主，也为了保护全城百姓，巴利安站在耶路撒冷城头，勇敢地面对20万敌军…………
