On the football field of Bronco Stadium, a flock of stewardesses and showgirls converge, forming intricate dance/movement patterns while two  Goodyear blimps hover above them. In the blimps a woman writhes and directs the dancers on the field, using red and green grapes to draw the patterns on the floor under the tables.

This installment about America, mythology, and death focuses on executed murderer Gary Gilmore, who sits in a strange, womb-like car in a Utah gas station. Barney constructs a personal narrative from elements and symbols of the American west.

This is either the final episode or the climactic one. It encompasses a dizzying number of themes. Much of the action takes place in two New York landmarks, the Chrysler Building and the Guggenheim Museum (where much of Barney's work is actually shown). It concludes with an old Celtic myth "Fionn versus Fingal the Giant".

Set on the Isle of Man, this episode centers on a motorcycle race, re-interpreted as the formative process of gender determination. Flame-Haired Satyr slowly taps his way through an eroding floor into the sea, as competing colour coded motorcycle teams set off in opposite directions to circle the Isle of Man.

Filmed in the Budapest Opera House, the lush operatic spectacle is accompanied by fairies, a magician, various attendants of unspecified gender and species, and a bevy of live pigeons. All are watched by The Queen of Chain while she sings. Beautifully shot with sweeping camera angles and an intriguing use of water, the film is full of Weird images.
