Saerhu Scenic Spot
Hello
everyone!Today I'd like show you around the famous Saerhu Scenic
Spot in Fushun.At first it is called "Dahuofang" Reservoir,later
changing into the present name.It was built in 1954 and finished in
1958.The total area is 110 sqkm.And it is also the most important
waterhead of Shenyang and Fushun.
Saerhu Scenic spot includes 8 sightseeing districts,each one has
the unique feature.Next,let's go to visit .
White
Dragon Mountain
It is located in the front of the reservoir dam shich was the
second large reservoir of China at that time.NOw,here has become a
mature resort with hotels,apartment houses and other
facilities.
Wanggao
Mountain
Wanggao Mountain is developed earliest and attracts the most
tourists which is commonly called "little Qing Dao".Its altitude is
156 m,the area is 2 hectare.The eastern and southern part is very
steep.Please look at the pavilions ,terraces and towers appear
indistinctly in the hill,like the peach orchard beyond this world
written by Tao Yuanming .
Marshal
Forest
It is the tomb of Zhang Zuolin who was the once-fmous warlord of
Fengxi school.It covers an area of 14.5 hectares with magnificent
architecture .There are a lot of carved stones ,stone
statures,memorial gateways and other precious cultural relics of
Ming and Qing Dynasty.When the time was near to complete a
construction project,the Sep 18th Incident happened,so it became an
empty tomb .
Record
Battel Tablet
Besides these beautiful scene here ,the famous Serhu Battle also
happened here in 1619.Because of the victory of the battle,
Nuerhachi set a solid foundation for Qing Dynasty .
The tablet was built in 1776 with the inscriptions of Emperor
Qianlong.The total 3500characters apprasied the contribution of his
ancestors .
Nuerhachi Bronze Statue
It was built in 1999 ,11.5metres high and 12 steps around it .The
12steps stands for 12 emperors of Qing Dynasty.The broze statue had
become the sumbol of Fushun.
