A Two-day Trip(11)(2007-03-07 12:29:53)
When I left Ju xiang xuan,I thought I had finished this trip. However,I was wrong that time, for there was still an important place that I hadn't visited already. The important place was Ancient Yuhua tai(the original Yuhua tai in about Nan Dynasty).Ancient Yuhua tai was a standard ancient tower building. It was built in a low hill, and there were many flights of steps from downhill to the gate of Ancient Yuhua tai.I saw an advertisement downhill, saying "two yuan for taking a picture in a (horse-drawn) carriage......"I was very excited after reading it,and decided to ask them to do so when I realized it was impossible to be so cheap, only if they are philanthropists.I saw that ad. again, and found that two yuan was only the money of using a carriage once, and one photo still cost fifteen yuan.I could only admire my eyes!Soon I went into the gate of Ancient Yuhua tai.The frist sight that I saw was a Guan Yin Buddhist Statue, and I couldn't help raising a kind of admiration. On both sides of the hall, many beautiful Yuhua stones were placed in glass counters. Then a native worker invited me to go into the inside hall to have a look. There were lots of Buddhist paintings,Buddhist tools and Yuhua stones in the inside hall.Several large Yuhua stones were carved into animals style carving, and they are lively and beautiful. On the right back of the Guan Yin Buddhist Statue, there was a statue of a noble monk.It was said that he lectureed Buddhist Scripture to many Buddhists in a temple, and the heaven was moved by his lecture. Then the heaven made many beautiful flower falling down to the ground like a rain, and the place where he lectured Buddhist Scripture was called Yuhua tai from then on.There were many materials according to Yuhua tai's long history (about two thousand years).A Buddhist inside asked me to howtow that noble monk, and let me leave my names and address in his notebook.I scanned that notebook, and found most of them were other provine people, and none of them were my townsmen.I wrote my names, and my hometown (Jingjiang,Jiangsu) in it.Finally, the Buddhist asked me to give some money to him.I asked him how much it was,and he said it depended on me,however much it was.I took out a fifty-cent coin and gave it to him. Then I went upstairs to have a look.
