A Two-day Trip(10)(2007-03-01 15:08:05)
I was about to leave Wen Tian xiang's ancestral hall when my classmate sent a cellphone message to me and asked me where and how I was in Nanjing.I told him that I was visiting Yuhua tai.He said that he was jealous of me,for he could only stay in the students' hostel. Then he asked me to bring some Yuhua tai's stones back.I told him that one stone was worth one RMB.He was astonished because he thought I could pick up Yuhua tai's stones on the ground and they were worth nothing like ordinary stones. Finally,I broke down our conversation, for my cellphone's battery was run out of and I still wanted to take some pictures.I just wanted to leave, but suddenly I remembered that I hadn't visited Li jie's tombstone inside.Inside Li jie's tombstone was an old slabstone path.On both sides of the path, two stonemen and two stonehorses were located.A large sheet of groves of bamboos surrounded Li jie's tombstone.I thought Li jie should be a man who likes peace and quiet in his life.To the north of Li jie's tombstone was Martyrs' East Death Place for our country. After I took a picture of this view,my cellphone's battery was run out of at once, and it could only support me in taking no more than twenty pictures.I looked at my watch, and it was half past two afternoon.I had meant to visit Xiu qiu Park with my friend, but it seemed impossible, only if I went back at once.So I decided to complete my trip at once.On the left of one crossing, there was a special pavilion which a stone tablet was placed in.I was curious to have a look at that pavilion. That pavilion was named Yu bei Pavilion, for Qian long Emperor in Qing Dynasty had visited the views there during his trip to Jiang nan. There were several ancient houses nearby.A small lake was located on the centre of those ancient houses. The lake was so beautiful that I took a picture of it at the cost of using my cellphone's final electricity.I didn't go into those houses to have a look, because those houses had lost its style with some modern things in it,such as air-conditions,guard windows against theft and so on.When I left there,I saw that group of children again. They were so happy to go into those houses to have a look.I thought they possibly didn't understand ancient cultural quintessence.Several minutes later,I happened to see a sheet of special woods. The woods were not real trees, for they looked like trees. They were really road lights, and they were made into the shape of trees. When I went through that sheet of woods.I saw a lump of grass ground, and behind it were several houses called Ju xiang xuan.I thought this must be a place for planting chrysanthemum.
