We are so excited. This is our first child and we have tried to have a baby for many years now. We are not going to find out if the baby will be a boy or a girl, we want to be surprised! There are so few surprises in life anymore, that we want this to be an extra special surprise. Both of our parents are so excited to be grandparents and are ready to spoil our baby like many grandparents do!

People have asked me a lot if I want a boy or a girl. All I really care about is the health of my wife and my child. As long as both stay healthy, it does not matter to me if it is a boy or a girl. We know it will be very tiresome to become parents and that we will be sleep deprived and constantly tired, but we are both excited for the challenge ahead.

I know there is a message board that is associated with this blog. We are taking all suggestions for names, boys and girls. So please send us your best suggestions! We are looking for a name that has meaning and is strong.

Heidi is feeling much better now and she is starting to show a belly. It is really true that a woman that is expecting is radiant. I think my wife is absolutely beautiful!

很抱歉我有几个星期没写博客了。我最近比赛和家事让我忙得团团转。我今天要跟大家分享一下我家里的好消息。我老婆海蒂就要生孩子啦！海蒂的预产期是6月9日，我们的“造人”计划已经完成了一半。

我们很开心。这是我们第一个孩子，我们已经努力了很多年。我们不准备去做B超看看孩子的性别，我们希望得到惊喜！生命中不会再有比这更大的惊喜，所以我们希望这一次能将悬念保留到最后一刻。我们的父母都盼着抱孙子，他们准备像其他爷爷奶奶一样溺爱孙子！

有人问我到底想要男孩还是女孩。我想要母子平安。只要他俩都平安，对我来说男孩女孩都没关系。我们明白当父母会很累，经常睡眠不足身心憔悴，但我们很高兴迎接这个挑战。

我知道这篇博客下面会有个留言板。我们正在商量给孩子起名，欢迎你们给我建议！男孩名女孩名都可以！我们想要一个有意义有力量的名字。

海蒂现在感觉稍微好点了，她的肚子已经挺起来了。都说怀孕的女人会容光焕发，看来这是真的！我觉得我老婆现在漂亮极了！
