长长的黑暗的河流

Long streams of
darkness
flow over the face of the
earth
night's somber
tears
Immersed in the
darkness
I watch this display of
groundless sorrow
designed to elicit the
sympathy of day
But day left long ago and is now
far away
night weeps in
vain
