    尼古拉斯.凯奇，我非常喜欢的一位影帝，在很多影片中都展示了他阳刚的魅力，其中不乏战争片和动作片。不过并非仅有挥舞的拳头和漫天纷飞的炮火才能诠释男性的全部，《天使之城》中那个微笑着，眼神却带着几许忧郁的天使塞斯，为了心爱的人宁愿落入凡尘，放弃天使的身份，放弃永生。

    当他从高处重重的落下，满身伤痕；当他不再能够随心而动，在滂沱的大雨中绝望的祈求能有一辆车带他到心爱的女医生身旁；他不会想到放弃永生，选择了凡人短暂而甜蜜的生活，但这甜蜜却短暂的只有一天。女医生年轻的生命被其他天使带走，留下塞斯品尝凡人生命的苦涩。

    一位天使问他：“如果你早知道事情是这样，你还会下凡来么？”

    “我宁愿可以，

    问到她的发香，

    亲吻她的嘴唇，

    抚摸她的双手，

    而不要一个没有她的………永生”

    当我们奋不顾身的争取一些东西，它又那么轻易的被命运夺走。我们不想承受痛苦，却愿为痛苦而放弃一切。在生活和痛苦面前，我们除了坚强还能选择什么？

    主题曲“Angel”流传甚广，它并非专门为这部电影而创作，但在电影的意境中令听者心醉。我把我能找到的两个最好的中文译本进行了综合，就像是许多经典的交响乐在不同的大师级指挥手中，能够体现出不一样的激情，这首歌，在我们的心灵之中，也许会产生些许微妙而不同的震荡。
